Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The driver is correct in that I did not pay the pre-agreed upon tip, but I indeed paid the full price of the limo rentalI believe the driver has demonstrated he is not willing to do anything to come to an agreeable term for this disputeWhat I would like is for potential customers to be aware that this driver has had customer satisfaction in the pastBased on his last comment that I held back $500, that is completely falseI paid him the full limo rental before he left with the kidsI can't image he would have even taken the kids had I withheld $So more importantly, I would like potential customers to know they should require a written receipt from the driver when you are paying the remaining balance in cashThe company required I pay half up front which I did using my credit cardThen they required the remaining balance when they arrive for your pick-up, in cashI had never rented a limo before so I didn't think about asking for a receipt for the remaining balance paid in cashObviously, I've learned a lesson there, but would like others to be warned about Also, I'm attaching an email below from the driver, where he acknowledges I withheld $(which was the tip)In his latest Revdex.com response, he's saying I held back $which this email proves is not trueHe's not an honest businessman and I believe he takes advantage of situations because he knows people are at his mercy when he arrives to transport them to their eventNo one arranges for a transportation baand he knows thatSo customers are forced to take whatever he provides even if it's not what was agreed upon Email from [redacted] the driver: [redacted] May to me [redacted] I would appreciate a phone call I am really put off by these comments before you hear my side of the story and I will talk to any state trooper federal judge.I busted my butt to make sure everything went right we decided a discount would be given which you discounted a dollars. The ride was based on pick and drop off I had told you the vehicle would not stay if another group had to be picked up and dropped off I told the kids which I waited and waited there and it took forever for the kids to get served that wasnt their fault the other pick up and drop off took thirty minutes and I was back the rest of the night.kids got to prom about that had nothing to do with the other run on the way back I explained what happen I waited for the kids at the prom until they got finished.only exposed wire was when one of them pull the upper part of the radio down which was working and they turned the ac off because it was to cold I personally came out myself we need to talkThank you Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android Regards, [redacted]

Matter has been resolved with a refund

The owner basically stands behind that he provided "a vehicle" and doesn't see a problem with the vehicle he providedHe also feels that since I withheld the $optional tip, that was his way of working with meHe also said the kids pulled the wires out, but myself, as well as other parents, noticed the wires hanging out before they left the schoolSeveral parents even brought to his attention the trunk was not shut all the way, which he told them, he knew and it was OKThe vehicle was just in awful shape.
The owner said at the time of arrival there were less kids, but he had no idea until he arrived how many kids were going to be thereWe agreed upon a passenger stretch SUV when we booked because we had kids and were still adding kids to groupHe also said I did not pay him the balance of the $which is not trueI paid him $via credit card and $cashThe $cash withheld was an optional tip
I honestly don't see him returning any kind of refund because he stated in one email to me, he had paid another company to make the run and that fell through and he couldn't get that money back from them, In my mind, he's just worried about his bottom line and not our agreement or customer satisfactionThis is what I would like to warn other potential customers about.

Refund was wired, but has yet to be received. Will follow-up once funds have been secured. Regardless, a customer who failed to receive service they would have gladly sourced to another vendor should not have to go to such lengths to receive a refund.

The driver is correct in that I did not pay the pre-agreed upon tip, but I indeed paid the full price of the limo rental. I believe the driver has demonstrated he is not willing to do anything to come to an agreeable term for this dispute. What I would like is for potential customers to be aware that this driver has had customer satisfaction in the past. Based on his last comment that I held back $500, that is completely false. I paid him the full limo rental before he left with the kids. I can't image he would have even taken the kids had I withheld $500. So more importantly, I would like potential customers to know they should require a written receipt from the driver when you are paying the remaining balance in cash. The company required I pay half up front which I did using my credit card. Then they required the remaining balance when they arrive for your pick-up, in cash. I had never rented a limo before so I didn't think about asking for a receipt for the remaining balance paid in cash. Obviously, I've learned a lesson there, but would like others to be warned about.
Also, I'm attaching an email below from the driver, where he acknowledges I withheld $100 (which was the tip). In his latest Revdex.com response, he's saying I held back $500 which this email proves is not true. He's not an honest businessman and I believe he takes advantage of situations because he knows people are at his mercy when he arrives to transport them to their event. No one arranges for a transportation back-up and he knows that. So customers are forced to take whatever he provides even if it's not what was agreed upon.

The owner said at the time of arrival there were less kids, but he had no idea until he arrived how many kids were going to be there. We agreed upon a 14 passenger stretch SUV when we booked because we had 11 kids and were still adding kids to group. He also said I did not pay him the balance of the $1100 which is not true. I paid him $600 via credit card and $500 cash. The $100 cash withheld was an optional tip.
I honestly don't see him returning any kind of refund because he stated in one email to me, he had paid another company to make the run and that fell through and he couldn't get that money back from them, In my mind, he's just worried about his bottom line and not our agreement or customer satisfaction.
