I am rejecting this response because: They are lying. I have a receipt to verify I bought the amp new.

Review: Took my car in to have a power wire installed for my amplifier. They charged me $85.00. not a problem Its When I get there to pick up my car the amplifier no longer worked. I tried to get them to compensate me for my loss but they said "they are not responsible for burning up my amp", and would do nothing to resolve the issue aside from selling me a new one which I cannot afford at the moment nor would I need a new amp if they had not destroyed the one I had in there .I hold them responsible and accountable. The kid working there even said it was working 10 minutes before I got there. And now my car smells like burnt electronics. If I was working on something of someones for a business and I broke it you bet it would be replaced out of my pocket.Desired Settlement: I want an amp of equal value to replace the one they destroyed.cost of my amp was $200.00

Review: I had stereo speakers installed in my 2010 [redacted] Camry. In the process of having this work completed, the shop ripped the dash at both of the dash speaker locations in the vehicle. After the work was completed I talked with the manager ([redacted]). He understood that it was a mistake on their part and said he would look into getting the dash replaced and would call me back. He took the VIN from the vehicle as reference. I never received a call again from his business. I had to call about a month later for a follow-up where I finally received a call with their email address. I responded via email and they said they would get the ball rolling again. I sent another follow up email a few weeks later. I still have not received an email or a call back to resolve the issue with the dash damage from the work that they performed. There was another issue with the install that was resolved at the time of purchase. [redacted] corrected this issue and I was satisfied with that part. The above issue with the dash damage was the second part of the issue from the work that was performed.Desired Settlement: the dash needs to be fixed/replaced in the vehicle that was worked on by his business. The work needs to be performed by a licensed dealership.

Review: I took a brand new stereo into this business to have it installed. The memory wire is not connected properly, I took the car back and was told to contact the manufacture for more info for which I did and provided this too the business. Instead of fixing that issue, they ran a new ground wire and I am still have the same issue, took the car back and was told that I needed to pay an additional $60.00 too have it wired correctly.Desired Settlement: Refund on Labor since stereo was not installed correctly

Response:

On 3/20/14 [redacted] contacted the manager of All Around Mobile Sound, [redacted], and requested information related to the installation of a Double Din radio/DVD purchased from another source into a 2005 Ford Crown Victory. The vehicle was a newly acquired used "Retired" police pursuit vehicle, purchased by [redacted]. [redacted] was informed the installation cost and he agreed to have the stereo installed for the sum of $228.64, AAMS invoice #13240. The stereo was installed using industry accepted installation parts and practices to prevent the factory wiring harness from being altered or cut. At the completion of the installation the vehicles stereo was tested and was determined to operate properly. It should be noted that stereo was installed by professionally trained installation staff members, [redacted] and [redacted] with 15 and 8 year installation experience respectively. Based on my training and experience, 30 years as the owner and operator of All Around Mobile Sound and 3 years as a police officer (driving a Crown Victoria), It is known by me that Crown Victoria's, used by law enforcement are highly modified, adapted and altered vehicles for the purposes for which they are used. It is also known by me that the vehicles are sold, "As is" based on the unknown modifications and police equipment removal done prior to the sale of same. The above mentioned stereo was installed and worked at the time it left our care and custody. After several weeks of use, [redacted] returned with the above stereo failing to maintain its memory. At that time [redacted] assessed the stereo and determined repairs were required including the following. Specifically, a battery cutoff switch, used by police departments to shut off all power was determined to be faulty. The battery voltage at that time was determined to be 10.5 volts; a voltage lower than the threshold required to maintain memory. [redacted] was informed of the above required repair and cost ($60.00 plus $30.00 parts); he chose not to repair his vehicle. All Around Mobile Sound does not warrant the integrity of a vehicle or their associated electrical systems. More specifically a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria used for Police purposes is known to have significant potential for electrical problems. I respectfully submit the above and do not feel responsible for the above complaint or feel the need to fix the above vehicle electrical issues. Please feel free to contact me at any time [redacted] ###-###-####
