Hired Two Expert Movers to move furniture from storage room to apartment. Promised me I would be happy with their service. The movers were five hours late. I found out afterwards that sub-contractors were used. If I would have known, I would have cancelled the move. The workers were slow, which cost me about 170 more than it should have. I suspect they were drinking, but I cannot prove it. They scratched my furniture, coffee table, end tables, broke the footboard on queen size bed. They damaged my washer and dryer. I had to pay for the parts and someone to fix it.Desired SettlementI would like my furniture fixed as promised by the workers. I did not get a copy of my paperwork from the movers. They scared me and I was so upset I didn't think to ask for it.

Dropped my tool box, damaged bad.. Refusing to answer phone.January 16 2015 had these guys move my tool box to new job and they dropped it. I told them to be careful the box is irreplaceable. On January 17 2015 I called office and told them they dropped my tool box. Someone was supposed to come look at it on January 19 2015 no one has come, now they won't answer phone they are ignoring me.Desired SettlementI want my tool box fixed, if they can't fix pay the money they owe for damages

Stolen and Damaged items(Moving day Feb. [redacted] 2015)All around movers motto is "Movers you can trust" well that is the farthest from the truth that you can even imagine. When everything was one the truck, the movers said they would follow us to the new place. Once we approached the freeway we got on but they did not and ended up arriving before we did they were inside in the back of the truck when we arrived. While they did arrive on time, the practices they used to transport our things were definitely undesirable. By the time our things were moved into our new place one of the heavy duty boxes had rips in the seams and part of our things were falling out. Our brand new BBQ grill was severely dented and our washing machine's housing was falling off! We had to hire someone to come and fix it! As the mover was hauling it inside he had the nerve to say "Oh I wanted to tell you that it was already broken when we were all back at the other apartment." Oh really? Well then Mr. Expert mover, why didn't you then? Not just that, it WASN'T broken in the first place. We have moved that machine for other reasons and that has never happened! Also, after the movers left we were going through our boxes and began to notice things were missing! The first thing we noticed was an orange bag that had my new [redacted] tennis shoes in them. Then we noticed that 2 wood TV trays (they were taped together) were gone and then after that it was our computer mat! Later that evening we realized that our very expensive Excalibur replica battle sword along with its wall hanging display was missing too! We were livid and called the company about it and received no answer so we left several messages. Over and over we tried to contact them to no avail. Once I got through, I asked the man to please go check the truck for our things and so I was put on a very long hold. When he returned, he said that the truck did not have our items. Needless to say I was very angry but got no where! Finally I had my wife call and she left a message with a few savory words and with in 5 minutes she received a text stating to call a cell phone number that was the drivers number so I called it and spoke to a man named [redacted] who verified that he was the driver that day. He said that he was contracted out and that he only works weekends and that he lived in [redacted] and would have to go all the way out to [redacted] to check the truck but would need gas money to do so. Can you believe that? I said that if the job was done correctly, than he wouldn't have to be going through this! Eventually he checked it out ([redacted] gas money) and called me back stating that he located the sword, mat and bag that had the shoes in it was found but the shoes were gone along with the two TV wood tables as well! Luckily we had the sword, mat and bag returned ([redacted] new [redacted] shoes). So why are we complaining about 2 wood TV tables and some shoes well because they are OURS!! We should have gotten EVERYTHING back! What kind of supposedly reputable, 'trustworthy' business returns things only partially? NONE I tell you none!!I spoke to [redacted] a once again to try and resolve this but he claims its not his fault and that I should try and talk to the owner of the company but when we do that, the owner tell us to call [redacted]'s number. So tell me, who is going to help us get our things back? Is this something that we just forget about and they get away with this? That would be a NO! We are very displeased with All Around Movers ability to keep our things undamaged and all in on place! Our opinion is that one of the movers, whether it be the driver or his helper, has stolen some of our things. They just got caught. PLUS they damaged our washing machine and brand new BBQ grill. I hope we can get this resolved somehow. One last thing, they never gave us a receipt even though I did sign it and we even tipped them $20!Desired SettlementAs far as a settlement is involved, we would like a full refund of $165 cash because they said that is the only type of payment they take(we had to go to the ATM to get it, talk about inconvenient...)

Hired this moving company about 2 weeks ago. Located then on [redacted] Memphis. Before the move began I explains to the movers the cost of the furniture and that it was just recently purchased. To much disappointment after the furniture was delivers I located many scratches and gouges on many pieces of the furniture. I call the owner of the company who goes by the name [redacted], I expressed to him what had occurred. I was told his insurance company would be contacting me the next day. Never heard from any one call again speaking to [redacted] and that conversation lasted only a moment he hung up the phone. I had stopped payment on the check for the damages and service. [redacted] told me that his insurance would not pay for the damages because I stopped payment. I told him that was not true insurance company's are not concerned in that regard. I have never called again. I need help with this. The company [redacted]Desired SettlementI need the name of the insurance company for [redacted]. The furniture must be replace. As and example the dining room table cost $9,000.00 and we had it about 5 months. I want and address for this company and all information in regard to owner and the company

I hired [redacted] to move furniture from one home to another. When they arrived three hours late, I was very clear to them to make sure they did not damage the walls or carpet as the owner of the home had sold the house and it had to be in the same condition as when it was inspected. The movers not only got many smudge marks on the walls but also gouged the walls. I showed this to one of the movers before we left the home, just so that we both knew and saw the same damage. The next day the person who was selling the house called me and was upset that the walls were damaged and needed to be patched and repainted that day. She paid a company $225.00 for the repairs and I reimbursed her this amount. I then called the moving company. Whoever answered the phone did not want to provide his name, but asked the nature of the call. I explained the situation to him and he told me to fix it myself. I explained that the repairs were being made by another company and the cost was $225.00. He told me that his insurance company was not going to pay for it, and I could have repaired it myself. He went on to tell me that he had farmed my move out to another company because he was to busy to do it and that they were responsible, not him. I informed him that I had a verbal contract with [redacted] and that I was not aware of any third party movers. In fact the name on the trick was [redacted] I told him that I would have my attorney call him. He told me that by the time I paid for an attorney, I could have just paid to have the repairs done, and then he hung up the phone. I attempted to call back but there was no answer.Product_Or_Service: MovingAccount_Number: VerbalDesired SettlementI simply want the money I paid to have the walls patched and repaired. $225.00 I have the receipt.

Of the several times I have used movers to move - this was the worst company I have dealt with. I have used movers over the years. The 2 men for this job involved going to my storage where I had my belongings and move them to a two bedroom apt. and it took them 7 hours. I barely saw one of them - when I did he was on his cell phone. They used the excuse since we (my sister and I) were moving upstairs that was the reason it was taking so long. As I mentioned, I have booked movers on moves in the past. Never has it taken 7 hours. I usually have chosen to live upstairs. There were no appliances involved. I found one of their lunch leftovers stuffed in one of my boxes. I would never recommend these movers. I cannot honestly say which address is for this business - I noticed there were several listed.Desired SettlementI just think they need a bad review.Business Response Hello Miss [redacted] this is All Around Town Movers we were responding to a complaint we are sorry that it took the amount of time to move you u move on the second floor the guys had to park the truck two building away and a large amount of boxes and furniture everything was going up to two storie stairs walking half a block and a lot of miscellaneous things we stand behind all of our work the job was done in the best timely manner that it could possibly be done non stop if u have any questions Please contact General Manager at:[redacted]THANK YOU.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)My name first off is not [redacted].
