Review: DO NOT USE ALL AROUND MOVING SERVICES!

All Around Moving was hired to handle my interstate moving needs from New York City to Oakland Park, Florida All Around Moving picked up my belongings on Monday August [redacted] and delivered them to my apartment home 20 days later-(Yes you read this part right 20 days later) On Sunday August [redacted] the truck arrived with my belongings/move. I hired this company only because after talking with a representative of the company a woman by the name of [redacted] she highly emphasized that the moving company was Highly rated by the Revdex.com and claimed that they were the official movers of NYC's Mayor Michael Bloomberg and NYC City Hall. How much do I painfully regret ever listening to this "fluffed up" and misleading truth about "All Around Movers" and their unprofessional staff. They did not even do the move themselves they hired a second or "middle man" to do the moving and transporting the goods a company by the name of ADVANTAGE MOVING & STORAGE SERVICES, INC.

A Art piece/painting was never delivered to my home and it looks like they lost the item and never to be found .Desired Settlement: WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY CLAIM?????

We received your letter regarding a complaint by [redacted]. Our job reference Number : [redacted],

Customer called us to arrange his long distance moving services. We did so. After items were delivered, customer said that one poster is MISSING. There is no specific record on movers inventory list that indeed this poster was picked up by them, as movers label each item and item.

He claimed after reporting missing, that the driver STOLE the poster. We urged him to file for a police report and let them find out.

However by law, carrier assigned for the job, Advantage Moving & Storage, offered customer thru their claim department a compensation worth $60.00, for the missing/stolen poster, as per rules and regulation by DOT for damaged or missing items.

Customer doesn't want to accept their settlement offer of $60.00. He claimed he purchased the poster 19 years ago (1994) and paid for the poster $200.00, but he has no receipt either to proof that, as he said to us. Therefore he's complaining to you.

We believe he received a good settlement offer that should n't be refused, considering the purchase was made 19 years ago.

I wanted to Thank All Around Moving Services on a great job! Gabby was very nice, pleasant and knowledgeable, I gave Gabby a call on Saturday afternoon and she had a crew at my home in NY the next day Sunday at 3:00 pm, the estimate she gave me was on point, the movers were very professional and nice although it wasn't a huge move they treated my stuff like it was! They rapped all my stuff in blankets nicely and they dismantled whatever needed to be dismantled. Alex and his crew was quick and they got the job done fast without any incidents, all my stuff was in FL at my daughter's home on Wednesday morning at 9:00 am again without any incidentals, and the crew put everything back together quickly!!! Very well done guys....thank you all

Recently we have moved Miami Florida to New York city. We called them and they arrived timely. Excellent work - they were professional and got my stuff there in time. The movers were friendly and nice and personable.
