Or his work did not have to be up to “satisfactionguaranteed” and “year warranty”? That he could do a lesser job ? If the house was dirty and littered, etcwhy did he take the job? Did it prevent himfrom performing his work? Was the dirt the reason the floors are flaking off.Are beer cans the reason his workers did not do the laminate work on thecounters properly? Are these mythical alcohol bottles the cause of the cabinetsnot being fixed correctly? Are theseparties the reason that he changed from gloss to matte paint without asking? He never says that these scandalous statementshave anything to do with this caseHe threw these “facts” in as a method ofprejudicing anyone against my daughterThis is a shameful way for a contractorthat is accredited by the Revdex.com to conduct business But itdoes speak to the character of Mr [redacted] and his company In truth, my daughter is the AsstGeneral Manager of a Red Robin cans to sit until her day off, that it not Mr[redacted] business or concernAs to alcohol, IF they had alcohol bottles, they would be kept in the pantry andthe only way Mr [redacted] would see them would be because HE NEVER REPLACED THEPANTRY OR LAUNDRY ROOM DOOR after removing them to do the cabinets Last night I searched the house for alcoholand found empty “Cul De Sac”wine bottles with corks that they keep in theirwine rack as decoration (they live on a culde sac)and an empty bottle of “Blanton Whiskey” as a decoration as their lastname is Blanton With my daughterworking to nights a week and every Friday Saturday and Sunday night, Iwould like to know when these parties are going on Shame on Mr[redacted] I hope these libelousstatements never appear in print anywhere they can be seen to libel my daughter’scharacterMr[redacted] has not addressed the issues at my house, the cabinets painted thewrong color that stuck togetherThe floor he painted that had a shadow and henever came back sink thathe charged me $for and the resultingleaks that destroyed the bottom of the cabinet and turned out to be a cracked garbagedisposalSo I presume he admits that alsoMr[redacted] was hired to refinish the countertops, and paint the cabinets and replacethe sink The problems startedbefore the work beganHe kept delaying delivery of the paint samples and eventried to tell me we had picked a color before my daughter even saw them My main concern was the very poor condition ofthe kitchen countertopsWe purchased this house as a HUD repoThe laminatewas crackedThe seam on the counter was raised and curling and unevenThebacksplash was damagedThe laminate was missing from the pass through countertop and the laminate on the front of the countertop was loose on the end nearthe sink but well attached at the far endMr[redacted] assured me that he hadrepaired much worse, that the seam and back splash would be fixed, the loose laminatereglued and the missing laminate REPLACEDI only have pictures from the houselisting but they show that the laminate was in terrible condition and that thefloors were a shiny brown two tone ceramic tileMr [redacted] worker painted the cabinets andrefinished the countertopsHe was a very nice young manWhen he arrived he said “There is no laminate on here”.I told him that he was supposed to replace it, etcHe said he was not toldthat and had no laminate thereHe called Mr [redacted] and then he told me Mr[redacted] said to putty in the un laminated areas and do the other repairsWecould end this hereMr [redacted] has insisted he replaced the missing laminateand done the needed repairs (yet the front of the counter top fell off after itwas refinished)I will furnish a picture of the bottom of the area showing theputtyIf we want to know who islying, send someone over to scrape the areaIf there is laminate there, I willdrop all claims about the countertopsThat is how sure I am that Mr[redacted] is lying.Wewere delighted with the look of the countertops (until the front fell off) andthe cabinets (but not the sink) with three exceptionsOne, the countertop wassupposed to have a brown fleck to match the brown tiled floors and it was justsolid white black and greyAlso, the area between the cabinet doors, above thestove, that faces the open wall to the dining room and is square in the middleof the kitchen had been missed(It is right over the microwaveCertainly not “Thereis a single small touchup that was done to the cabinet in a secluded spotthat I guarantee no one could find” as stated by Mr [redacted] ”) and three, thecabinets were very shiny and we had asked for a matte finishThey looked atleast semi glossHowever, we were assured that the paint used was matteThepainter used a brush to paint the missed area and it looks like it was paintedwith a matte finist is in the area between the doors that shows even whenthe doors are closedI have asked that it be redone since the work was firstdone and Mr[redacted] has just ignored meSo, I have to question, was the originalpaint used matte or semi gloss as the touch up certainly is matte and does notmatch at allMy daughter told me that she loved the black grey and white andwished the floors were grey instead of adding in the brown fleck, so I askedMr [redacted] if tile floors could be refinished like the countertops and heanswered “yes”I have that in an email My daughter was delightedThe areas to bedone were the kitchen, the dining room, the front foyer and steps and thefireplace tiles (floor and up the fireplace) that matchedMr [redacted] said he needed days notice of the color so that he could have the paintmixed as it needed “special hardeners” and had to be mixed by a companyThecolor we picked was Filtered Grey by ValsparI have this in an emailHowever, when the painter arrived, he had no mixed paint and said he was supposed to mixit thereI asked about the special hardeners but he said they just added moreof the hardening material used on the countertopsThe color they sprayed wasdark grey blue, not even close to “Filtered Grey” My daughter had to live in a motel for daysand pay for her cats while this work was doneThe workers moved the appliancesand replaced them two days later Theissue with my daughters floors arose within a week of the first paint job beingdone, not months laterWithin days the paint on their floor started flakingoff, especially in the grout area showing the brown tile belowNEVER has Mr[redacted] said anything about a silicone type sealerHe said that his men hadnot allowed the muriatic acid to dry enoughHe was scheduled to paint mykitchen floor and I was concerned that it would flakeHe assured me that wouldnot happen on my floor and so I let him proceed (my floor was a very small areain comparison so I believed it could dry quicker.) Naturally, my floor flakedright upIt looked like a black flecked eater egg with brown tile showingthrough everywhereI would NEVER have allowed him to do my floors if there wasany question about a silicone sealerHe never did a sample are in eitherhouseThis man is supposed to be anEXPERT with years of experienceAfter he did my floor, he notedthat there was a shadow in the paint that needed to be redone but he never cameback to do itHe never gave me a bill, he never asked me for payment, he neverresponded to me about the paint flaking up and he never mentioned my floorsagain until I threatened suitI guess he felt if he ignored it, it would goawayIf you read prior Revdex.com complaints against Mr [redacted] and other on linecomments, Mr [redacted] threatens people who don’t pay him with liens, but henever threatened meI guess he felt that if he never got payment, he was neverliable for destroying my floorsFrankly, the floors looked terrible as thecolor was terribleBut that was my faultHe had told me that he had a processto use a second color to make it look like marbleI inquired but he neverrespondedI was conflictedI was confident the floors would just flake up ifredone and the color showed every water spotAfter my daughters continuedproblems, I spent 4k having my floors retiledOne forth of that was thekitchenMr[redacted] did come back and re spray paint in the kitchen and dining room (butnot the foyer or the fireplace) of my daughter’shouseTo my knowledge he never sanded anythingHe just repaintedHe did puta new board in the bottom of my daughter sink cabinet that rotted from theleak, but he never fixed the leakHe again moved the appliancesHe also gavethem a jar of touch up paint that matched the new color he put on the kitchenand dining room floor, this time darker grey with no blue in it(Still not FilteredGrey) he sent his “lesser experienced worker” back to take down the plastic, tape and move the appliancesWe only recall the “lesser experienced” employeebeing there, not two peopleBut there might have been twoBut if there weretwo, why was it necessary for my son in law to help move the appliances? Infact “DRAG THEM CROSS A NEWLY PAINTEDFLOOR” MrWillams states he sent back two of hisemployees to put back the appliancesThatwas their jobMy son in law was asked to help as his “lesserexperienced employee” could not move them himselfRight there is a problem. You have a “lesser experienced employee” working on a job that was already aproblem from peeling and you send that person back to move appliances over anewly painted floor without cardboard or sliders or rollersFrankly, my son inlaw only recalls the one “lesser experienced employee” being there and my sonin law was asked to help move the appliancesIf there were two men there asMr [redacted] says, why did the two of them not do the moving? WHOWAS IN CHARGE? Was my son in lawsupposed to know what it takes to move appliances on a floor under the care andwork of All Bath? Or were Mr [redacted] men in chargeAnd if there were two men there, why did they involve my son inlaw at all? Why would they even allow my son in law to help move appliances ona floor that was their responsibility? It was the washer and dryer that scratched up the floor, not the stove.Pictures of the scratched area will show the scratches extended far beyond thestove location THIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF MR [redacted] DUPLICITY AND MISDIRECTION.SCREW UP THE JOB AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE MY SON IN LAW LEAD THE CHARGE AND FORCEDTHEM TO DRAG THE APPLIANCES AND CUT UP THE FLOOR WHILE HIS POOR INEXPERIENCEDWORKER MEEKLY FOLLOWED ALONG ThenMr [redacted] sent that same lone “lesser experienced “employee back to repaintand he painted a hopscotch looking patch of a different color paint inthe kitchen By then we had bluish darkgrey in the foyer and fireplace, darkergrey paint in the dining and kitchen and a nice hopscotch of lighter grey inthe middle of the kitchenIT WAS PATHETICAND BY THEN PAINT WAS FLAKING UPALLOVER, THE FOYER, THE KITCHEN, THE DININGROOM AND THE FIREPLACE Mr [redacted] wants to paint some picture ofdamage done by tape being left on the painted tileTotally a lieWe started painting the baseboards and we didall the baseboards that bordered the painted floors firstWe bought the mostexpensive painters tape sold by LowesWe did two coats over two days and tookup the tape immediately and yes, in places it pulled up the paintA properlypainted surface should not have come up like that or the job should have neverbeen undertakenPeople do have to live on tile floors So, we got the trusty bottle of touch up paintand tried to touch up the fireplace that took the biggest hit and a place inthe front foyerHowever, the paint color was not the sameI personally usedthe touch up paint to touch up a place on the fireplace grout that had flaked(it is still there) The color was dark grey next to the blue grey and lookedterribleWe did decide that painting all the baseboards and trim and walls wasnot a job for three people with no free time so we hired a contractor to paintthe walls and the trimThe contractor was [redacted] Odell and he is willing to describe the condition ofthe work done by Mr.WillaimsHis number is I did not have time toget a statement from himHe lives in San Antonio So, there was tape on the walls until thecontractor painted but none on the painted floor surfacesNegotiationswith Mr [redacted] was very difficultHe denied liability for the front of thecounter falling offBut as a favor (ho ho ho) he fixed itWhat a messHe merelypainted the fallen off strip, or just reglued it and now the strip is chippingoffHis statement “The last time I was in the house last June the cabinetfinish, and the counter surfaces looked great.” Is a liePictures show itlooks like crapAnd the seam is sinking and will probably crack soonThe edgesare all crackingI demandedthe work be fixed by ThanksgivingHe refusedHe said he was not ignoring me,he was trying to decide what to doHe did come “fix”the counter beforeChristmas He is a master of passive aggressivebehaviorIf I told him we could do it any week but he would write back and saythat was the week he would do itHe was impossibleFinally he asked what mydaughter wanted done about the floors and I made him simple dealHe would comeback and respray everything the same color (kitchen, dining room, foyer stepsand fireplace) and give us a goodly amount of touch up paint and we would callit an end to the floorsMy daughter felt they could just keep touching up ifthey had matching paint until some date in the future when they could replacethe tileHe agreed and that was when he delivered the final insultThefinal insult was the last time he came backIn an effort to be agreeable, Itold him he did not have to move the washer and dryer again, nor did he have tomove the stoveBut, as his email will show HE DECIDED to change the entirescheme of the paint from semigloss to matteHe only did a part of the front foyer, he used a touch up brush andtried to “touch up” the gloss paint on the fireplace with a matte finish so itlooks even worse and now, if we ever sell, the areas under the washer and dryerand stove will not even be closeHe then sent me an email saying he haddecided to change to matte so the floors would not be so slipperyWho eversaid the floors were slippery???? That was never an issueAnd he says in his statementthat he “ personally went back again, and refinished the floor againWhen Iwas at the property last I also did numerous touch ups to other areas thatwere needed because of masking tape that was left stuck to the surface forseveral weeks.” WHAT OTHER AREAS???? Hewas supposed to repaint everything and leave us a goodly amount of touch uppaintWHAT OTHER AREAS???? Everything is all the areasSo what other areasshould there have been? He told me he was going to just retouch up thefireplace and I said “NO”And then he changes from gloss to matte paint andslopped it on the fireplace tile and called it doneHe then put the paint can, with a sparse amount of leftover paint in the corner of the foyer that he hadnot touchedSo, now we have paint chipping in the kitchen, extensivelyin the dining room, in the foyer and on the fireplace and a tiny amount oftouch up paintWe do not not mind the new matte finish, but now the applianceshave a gloss under them and if we ever have to sell, well, we could not sellwith the floors as they areWe have a fireplace with part gloss and part matteTHREE color paintWe have a countertop that is chippingWe have a cabinetthat is in the middle of the room that has never been redone and the doorsstill are not rehungIt is clear that Mr [redacted] did not have theexpertise, or use the proper paint to do this jobHe told me that All Bath hasnever done an area that large beforeHe was negligent in even undertaking thejobIt can never be made right as more paint will just mean more flaking andchippingThe only solution is new tileMr [redacted] says I am a bullyIf asserting your rightsmakes you a bully, I am oneIf wanting the job done correctly makes me abully, I am oneMr [redacted] has sent me some pretty “bully”emails himselfIfasking him where to locate his DBA is, then I am a bullyNote, he is a member ofthe Revdex.com under the name All Bath and Counter Refinishing but there IS NO DBA inthat name(Unless it has been filed in the last few weeks) How can the Revdex.comaccredit business that is in violationof the law? I amhoping he will see the light and make this right and avoid a lawsuit as I willnot allow him to escape liabilityI am not a litigious person, but I cannotallow my house and my daughters house tobe destroyed with impunity Regards, [redacted] ***

I did fulfill the agreementI showed up and performed the work as promised*** *** is the party that did not fulfill her part of the agreement. She did not , and has not paid for the materials as she agreed

Rather than addressing all of the untruths in this complaint. I am just going to deal with the facts. The fact is that my company did work at this persons daughters house. There was an issue after a few months with the painted floor finish. There was a silicone type sealer in the...

grout that prevented the floor coating from adhering. I personally went back to the job and sanded all of the grout joints, and refinished the floor. That ended the problem. I sent two of my guys back to clean up, and replace the appliances. As one of my less experienced workers joined in with the customers son in law, in dragging the stove across the freshly finished floor, marring the floor. I personally went back again, and refinished the floor again. When I was at the property last I also did numerous touch ups to other areas that were needed because of masking tape that was left stuck to the surface for several weeks. I know this because I have been in the house several times seeing the tape stuck to the surfaces.  The several times that I have been back to do things such as repair a piece of laminate edging that was damaged by the residents, and was by no means a warranty. I did this at no charge just trying to extend good will because of the floor situation mentioned earlier. The last time I was in the house last June the cabinet finish, and the counter surfaces looked great. There is a single small touchup that was done to the cabinet in a secluded spot that I guarantee no one could find. Much less notice. all of the other complaint issues are nothing more than fabrications by this lady. Warranty does not mean maintenance. which is what this customer is trying to accomplish. She is trying to bully me into more freebies. The house is not well taken care of every time I've been there the house is dirty, littered with empty beer, and alcohol bottles. My point in that is this, I cannot keep doing freebies for the party house. The fact is I have gone above and beyond to try to please this person, and I finally had to say no more!?

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Please note that Mr. [redacted] did not respond to mycomplaint in the 2 weeks given, or the extra 10 days given or until he wascontacted personally by the Revdex.com after the time had passed to get his patheticresponse. Also note, the Revdex.com has accredited him when he does not even have a DBAin the name All Bath and Counter Refinishing unless it was filed in the lastfew weeks. How can this be an accredited business? The simple fact is that Mr. [redacted] undertook to do work atmy house and my daughter’s house, that I paid for, that he did not have theexpertise, equipment or manpower to do. He breached his contract by never finishingthe work, he was negligent in the manner he did the work and he defrauded me byrepresenting himself as capable of doing the work. His web sites (multiple) saythat he is accredited by the Revdex.com  andthat his work is satisfaction guaranteed and warrantyed for 5 years. Mr. [redacted] is an expert at prevarication anddeception and misdirection. His own words show he breached his contract and wasnegligent in the work he did. NOTE I DO NOT ADMIT THAT ANYTHING HE HAS SAID ISTRUE, I AM MERELY ADDRESSING HIS POINTS TO SHOW THAT EVEN IF IT WAS  TRUE, HE HAS ESTABLISHED NEGLIEGNECE ANDBREACH OFCONTRACT. Please note, I am a 66 year old woman. I am not verycomputer savvy. I opened Mr. [redacted] response in an airport in new Hampshire andwas only given 6 days to respond. Although I asked for more time, I wasrequested to have all this in by 11/19/14. So, I will be uploading pictures asbest as I can and I have compiled emails into one document. If I had more time Icould have shortened this but I am putting together what I can. Mr.[redacted] says . “I am just going to deal with the facts.” And then he says  “the house is dirty, littered with empty beer, andalcohol bottles. He threw these “facts” in as a method ofprejudicing anyone against my daughter. This is a shameful way for a contractorthat is accredited by the Revdex.com to conduct business.  But itdoes speak to the character of Mr. [redacted] and his company.        In truth, my daughter is the AsstGeneral Manager of a Red Robin restaurant that has received the second highest rating by Red Robin Corporate of ALLthe Red Robins in the USA for service, cleanliness, etc. My daughter and herhusband are not dirty people and the house is not dirty. As to alcohol, IF they had alcohol bottles, they would be kept in the pantry andthe only way Mr. [redacted] would see them would be because HE NEVER REPLACED THEPANTRY OR LAUNDRY ROOM DOOR after removing them to do the cabinets.  Last night I searched the house for alcoholand found 2 empty “Cul De Sac”wine bottles with corks that they keep in theirwine rack as decoration (they live on a  culde sac)and an empty bottle of “Blanton Whiskey” as a decoration as their lastname is Blanton.  With my daughterworking 5 to 6 nights a week and every Friday Saturday and Sunday night, Iwould like to know when these parties are going on.  Shame on Mr.[redacted]. I hope these libelousstatements never appear in print anywhere they can be seen to libel my daughter’scharacter. Mr.[redacted] has not addressed the issues at my house, the cabinets painted thewrong color that stuck together. The floor he painted that had a shadow and henever came back to finish (ever).  Therefore, we must assume that he admits thissince he has not denied it. Therefore, he owes me the cost of replacing thedamaged floor with new tile and the costs I will incur in getting the cabinetsdone correctly. If one has a defense to an allegation, they cannot just ignoreit. By his silence he has admitted it. Healso did not address the issue of the negligent installation of the new sink thathe charged me $90 for and the resultingleaks that destroyed the bottom of the cabinet and turned out to be a cracked garbagedisposal. So I presume he admits that also. Mr.[redacted] was hired to refinish the countertops, and paint the cabinets and replacethe sink.  The problems startedbefore the work began. He kept delaying delivery of the paint samples and eventried to tell me we had picked a color before my daughter even saw them.  My main concern was the very poor condition ofthe kitchen countertops. We purchased this house as a HUD repo. The laminatewas cracked. The seam on the counter was raised and curling and uneven. Thebacksplash was damaged. I only have pictures from the houselisting but they show that the laminate was in terrible condition and that thefloors were a shiny brown two tone ceramic tile. Mr. [redacted] worker painted the cabinets andrefinished the countertops. He was a very nice young man. When he arrived he said “There is no laminate on here”.I told him that he was supposed to replace it, etc. He said he was not toldthat and had no laminate there. He called Mr. [redacted] and then he told me Mr.[redacted] said to putty in the un laminated areas and do the other repairs. Wecould end this here. Mr. [redacted] has insisted he replaced the missing laminateand done the needed repairs (yet the front of the counter top fell off after itwas refinished). I will furnish a picture of the bottom of the area showing theputty. If we want to know who islying, send someone over to scrape the area. If there is laminate there, I willdrop all claims about the countertops. That is how sure I am that Mr.[redacted]is lying.Wewere delighted with the look of the countertops (until the front fell off) andthe cabinets (but not the sink) with three exceptions. One, the countertop wassupposed to have a brown fleck to match the brown tiled floors and it was justsolid white black and grey. Also, the area between the cabinet doors, above thestove, that faces the open wall to the dining room and is square in the middleof the kitchen had been missed. (It is right over the microwave. Certainly not “Thereis a single small touchup that was done to the cabinet in a secluded spotthat I guarantee no one could find” as stated by Mr. [redacted]”) and three, thecabinets were very shiny and we had asked for a matte finish. They looked atleast semi gloss. However, we were assured that the paint used was matte. Thepainter used a brush to paint the missed area and it looks like it was paintedwith a matte finish. It is in the area between the doors that shows even whenthe doors are closed. I have asked that it be redone since the work was firstdone and Mr.[redacted] has just ignored me. So, I have to question, was the originalpaint used matte or semi gloss as the touch up certainly is matte and does notmatch at all. My daughter told me that she loved the black grey and white andwished the floors were grey instead of adding in the brown fleck, so I askedMr. [redacted] if tile floors could be refinished like the countertops and heanswered “yes”. I have that in an email.  My daughter was delighted. The areas to bedone were the kitchen, the dining room, the front foyer and steps and thefireplace tiles (floor and up the fireplace) that matched. Mr. [redacted]said he needed 10 days notice of the color so that he could have the paintmixed as it needed “special hardeners” and had to be mixed by a company. Thecolor we picked was Filtered Grey by Valspar. I have this in an email. However, when the painter arrived, he had no mixed paint and said he was supposed to mixit there. I asked about the special hardeners but he said they just added moreof the hardening material used on the countertops. The color they sprayed wasdark grey blue, not even close to “Filtered Grey”.  My daughter had to live in a motel for 2 daysand pay for her cats while this work was done. The workers moved the appliancesand replaced them two days later.  Theissue with my daughters floors arose within a week of the first paint job beingdone, not months later. Within days the paint on their floor started flakingoff, especially in the grout area showing the brown tile below. NEVER has Mr.[redacted] said anything about a silicone type sealer. He said that his men hadnot allowed the muriatic acid to dry enough. He was scheduled to paint mykitchen floor and I was concerned that it would flake. He assured me that wouldnot happen on my floor and so I let him proceed (my floor was a very small areain comparison so I believed it could dry quicker.) Naturally, my floor flakedright up. It looked like a black flecked eater egg with brown tile showingthrough everywhere. I would NEVER have allowed him to do my floors if there wasany question about a silicone sealer. He never did a sample are in eitherhouse. This man is supposed to be anEXPERT with 26 years of experience. After he did my floor, he notedthat there was a shadow in the paint that needed to be redone but he never cameback to do it. He never gave me a bill, he never asked me for payment, he neverresponded to me about the paint flaking up and he never mentioned my floorsagain until I threatened suit. I guess he felt if he ignored it, it would goaway. If you read prior Revdex.com complaints against Mr. [redacted] and other on linecomments, Mr. [redacted] threatens people who don’t pay him with liens, but henever threatened me. I guess he felt that if he never got payment, he was neverliable for destroying my floors. Frankly, the floors looked terrible as thecolor was terrible. But that was my fault. He had told me that he had a processto use a second color to make it look like marble. I inquired but he neverresponded. I was conflicted. I was confident the floors would just flake up ifredone and the color showed every water spot. After my daughters continuedproblems, I spent 4k having my floors retiled. One forth of that was thekitchen. Mr.[redacted] did come back and re spray paint in the kitchen and dining room (butnot the foyer or the fireplace) of my daughter’shouse. To my knowledge he never sanded anything. He just repainted. He did puta new board in the bottom of my daughter sink cabinet that rotted from theleak, but he never fixed the leak. He again moved the appliances. He also gavethem a jar of touch up paint that matched the new color he put on the kitchenand dining room floor, this time darker grey with no blue in it. (Still not FilteredGrey) he sent his “lesser experienced worker” back to take down the plastic, tape and move the appliances. We only recall the “lesser experienced” employeebeing there, not two people. But there might have been two. But if there weretwo, why was it necessary for my son in law to help move the appliances? Infact “DRAG THEM CROSS A  NEWLY PAINTEDFLOOR”.   Mr. Willams states he sent back two of hisemployees to put back the appliances. Thatwas their job. My son in law was asked to help as his “lesserexperienced employee” could not move them himself. Right there is a problem. You have a “lesser experienced employee” working on a job that was already aproblem from peeling and you send that person back to move appliances over anewly painted floor without cardboard or sliders or rollers. Frankly, my son inlaw only recalls the one “lesser experienced employee” being there and my sonin law was asked to help move the appliances. If there were two men there asMr. [redacted] says, why did the two of them not do the moving?  WHOWAS IN CHARGE?  Was my son in lawsupposed to know what it takes to move appliances on a floor under the care andwork of All Bath?  Or were Mr. [redacted]men in charge. And if there were two men there, why did they involve my son inlaw at all? Why would they even allow my son in law to help move appliances ona floor that was their responsibility? It was the washer and dryer that scratched up the floor, not the stove.Pictures of the scratched area will show the scratches extended far beyond thestove location.  THIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF MR. [redacted] DUPLICITY AND MISDIRECTION.SCREW UP THE JOB AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE MY SON IN LAW LEAD THE CHARGE AND FORCEDTHEM TO DRAG THE APPLIANCES AND CUT UP THE FLOOR WHILE HIS POOR INEXPERIENCEDWORKER MEEKLY FOLLOWED ALONG.  ThenMr. [redacted] sent that same lone “lesser experienced “employee back to repaintand he painted a hopscotch looking patch of a different color paint inthe kitchen.  By then we had bluish darkgrey in the foyer and fireplace,  darkergrey paint in the dining and kitchen and a nice hopscotch of lighter grey inthe middle of the kitchen. IT WAS PATHETIC. AND BY THEN PAINT WAS FLAKING UPALLOVER, THE FOYER, THE KITCHEN, THE DININGROOM AND THE FIREPLACE.  Mr. [redacted] wants to paint some picture ofdamage done by tape being left on the painted tile. Totally a lie. We started painting the baseboards and we didall the baseboards that bordered the painted floors first. We bought the mostexpensive painters tape sold by Lowes. We did two coats over two days and tookup the tape immediately and yes, in places it pulled up the paint. A properlypainted surface should not have come up like that or the job should have neverbeen undertaken. People do have to live on tile floors.  So, we got the trusty bottle of touch up paintand tried to touch up the fireplace that took the biggest hit and a place inthe front foyer. However, the paint color was not the same. I personally usedthe touch up paint to touch up a place on the fireplace grout that had flaked(it is still there) The color was dark grey next to the blue grey and lookedterrible. We did decide that painting all the baseboards and trim and walls wasnot a job for three people with no free time so we hired a contractor to paintthe walls and the trim. The contractor was [redacted] Odell  and he is willing to describe the condition ofthe work done by Mr.Willaims. His number is 210 425 7675.  I did not have time toget a statement from him. He lives in San Antonio.  So, there was tape on the walls until thecontractor painted but none on the painted floor surfaces. Negotiationswith Mr. [redacted] was very difficult. He denied liability for the front of thecounter falling off. But as a favor (ho ho ho) he fixed it. What a mess. He merelypainted the fallen off strip, or just reglued it and now the strip is chippingoff. His statement “The last time I was in the house last June the cabinetfinish, and the counter surfaces looked great.” Is a lie. Pictures show itlooks like crap. And the seam is sinking and will probably crack soon. The edgesare all cracking. I demandedthe work be fixed by Thanksgiving. He refused. He said he was not ignoring me,he was trying to decide what to do. He did come “fix”the counter beforeChristmas.  He is a master of passive aggressivebehavior. If I told him we could do it any week but…he would write back and saythat was the week he would do it. He was impossible. Finally he asked what mydaughter wanted done about the floors and I made him simple deal. He would comeback and respray everything the same color (kitchen, dining room, foyer stepsand fireplace) and give us a goodly amount of touch up paint and we would callit an end to the floors. My daughter felt they could just keep touching up ifthey had matching paint until some date in the future when they could replacethe tile. He agreed and that was when he delivered the final insult. Thefinal insult was the last time he came back. In an effort to be agreeable, Itold him he did not have to move the washer and dryer again, nor did he have tomove the stove. But, as his email will show HE DECIDED to change the entirescheme of the paint from semigloss to matte. He only did a part of the front foyer, he used a touch up brush andtried to “touch up” the gloss paint on the fireplace with a matte finish so itlooks even worse and now, if we ever sell, the areas under the washer and dryerand stove will not even be close. He then sent me an email saying he haddecided to change to matte so the floors would not be so slippery. Who eversaid the floors were slippery???? That was never an issue. And he says in his statementthat he “ personally went back again, and refinished the floor again. When Iwas at the property last I also did numerous touch ups to other areas thatwere needed because of masking tape that was left stuck to the surface forseveral weeks.”.  WHAT OTHER AREAS???? Hewas supposed to repaint everything and leave us a goodly amount of touch uppaint. WHAT OTHER AREAS???? Everything is all the areas. So what other areasshould there have been? He told me he was going to just retouch up thefireplace and I said “NO”. And then he changes from gloss to matte paint andslopped it on the fireplace tile and called it done. He then put the paint can, with a sparse amount of leftover paint in the corner of the foyer that he hadnot touched. So, now we have paint chipping in the kitchen, extensivelyin the dining room, in the foyer and on the fireplace and a tiny amount oftouch up paint. We do not not mind the new matte finish, but now the applianceshave a gloss under them and if we ever have to sell, well, we could not sellwith the floors as they are. We have a fireplace with part gloss and part matteTHREE color paint. We have a countertop that is chipping. We have a cabinetthat is in the middle of the room that has never been redone and the doorsstill are not rehung. It is clear that Mr. [redacted] did not have theexpertise, or use the proper paint to do this job. He told me that All Bath hasnever done an area that large before. He was negligent in even undertaking thejob. It can never be made right as more paint will just mean more flaking andchipping. The only solution is new tile. Mr. [redacted] says I am a bully. If asserting your rightsmakes you a bully, I am one. If wanting the job done correctly makes me abully, I am one. Mr. [redacted] has sent me some pretty “bully”emails himself. Ifasking him where to locate his DBA is, then I am a bully. Note, he is a member ofthe Revdex.com under the name All Bath and Counter Refinishing but there IS NO DBA inthat name. (Unless it has been filed in the last few weeks) How can the Revdex.comaccredit  business that is in violationof the law? I amhoping he will see the light and make this right and avoid a lawsuit as I willnot allow him to escape liability. I am not a litigious person, but I cannotallow my house and my daughters house  tobe destroyed with impunity.
