amWe then went to the precinct to notify the police department that we were legally in possession of the carWe left the precinct at amWhile heading to the storage facility we were flagged down by the *** of the vehicleAs a courtesy to the *** we released the vehicle there to save the *** the trip to our facility.
By NYC law, if the *** had come to retrieve the vehicle at the scene, he would of been charged the drop fee of plus taxSince the vehicle was claimed after the vehicle had left the scene of the initial violation he was charged the full price of $plus tax for a total of $

Review: My Vehicle was towed for parking illegally. ( I went to a drug store across the street ) The Tow operator was waiting for me to come out of the drug store with my vehicle attached to the tow truck. I asked the tow truck operator how much is the fee to drop my vehicle, and his response was 125.00 plus tax. ($137.00) Because the vehicle was moved from the parking lot to the drug store my fee was $137.00. I payed the fee. My vehicle was dropped.

I felt the fee was very high so I called the telephone number on the tow receipt and asked to speak to the [redacted]. I then asked the [redacted] "how much does it cost to drop your vehicle if my vehicle was towed from the parking lot to the drug store across the street? The [redacted]s reply was," the drop fee should have been $65.00 " I asked the [redacted] why was I charged $137.00 if the fee was $65.00? He had no response and could not give me a straight answer.

This business, in my opinion, is set up to rip off hard working citizens and these people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.Desired Settlement: $72.00

On 8-**-14 All Boro was called to tow a vehicle out of the parking lot of [redacted] in the Bronx. The driver and passengers were observed leaving the parking lot and not shopping at any of the establishments in the mall. We arrived on scene and towed the vehicle. The Vehicle was towed at at 1144 am. We then went to the 42 precinct to notify the police department that we were legally in possession of the car. We left the precinct at 1159 am. While heading to the storage facility we were flagged down by the [redacted] of the vehicle. As a courtesy to the [redacted] we released the vehicle there to save the [redacted] the trip to our facility.

By NYC law, if the [redacted] had come to retrieve the vehicle at the scene, he would of been charged the drop fee of 62.50 plus tax. Since the vehicle was claimed after the vehicle had left the scene of the initial violation he was charged the full price of $125.00 plus tax for a total of $136.09
