After more than 120 days the roofer started the replacement of the roof by doing only the basics, in order to keep the contract. After a week or more the contractor finished the job and requested to meet him 45 minutes away (driving time). Response was negative. After inspection of the work area found debris and trash. Finally the owner recover 105 roof nails with a magnet from the yard, 2 of them end up on 2 different tires of the owners lawn more, while cutting the grass. WONDERFUL. !
we had a contract with this company. we did the contract in the summer June of 2017. we agreed with the owner that would start in September didnt
the owner and us agreed to have my roof done at the end of the rainy season of september of 2017. the owner came and even pulled the permits and put the security check to my home owners associan.
irma hit, and I called the roofer, september,the owner said his roof was leaking and he needed to fix it. (i have solar pannels that have to be taken down , so the roofers can have free axcess of the roof. I cant take them down to soon due to I dont want water possibly coming in from the panels holes. )
so I waited a month, october, and called him back, and he said he had the people before me still to do. I reminded him about my solar man having to come when hes ready.
again I called in december and the same garbage. he said he was still behind due to the rain.
I called again in february, thats when he said I need to find a different roofer.
the bad thing is now my two tiny leaks have become bad and I still have 3 months to wait on the new roofer.
the roofer backed out because the quote he gave me was low due to the fact it was before irma and he needed the work.
so this company can NOT be depended on.
If I could take him to court I would my leaks are now big and im sure the new roofer will charge me even more then he quoted me to start with. which already is 4000.00 thousand more then all brevard roofing quoted me.
so because all brevard roofing under quoted themselves because times were tough and they needed the work, and now they dont, well this guy is horrible.
that they do my roof for the agreed on origional price. or that they pay the difference that it will now cost me to fix my roof. the difference between their quote and the new quote. thanks

I am writing in response to the above noted matter to provide a written response and document a valid & factual response to the allegations.
All Brevard Roofing Inc. has 45 days from the acceptance date of June 14th, 2017 to start the work. The work was never started and on numerous occasions I had shared with*** that I am unable to start her project due to a huge back log of work & lack of adequate qualified labor. *** was clearly told many times that I am unable to start and waited from June 14th 2017 until February 23, 2018 to file her complaint. She was told on numerous occasions to hire another Roofing contractor and no deposit was accepted from her. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and I simply did not and do not have adequate qualified labor based on the work load & have shared same with her.

Do, hopefully they will pay the difference between their quote and now the new roofing company. Due to now I have to pay an increase rate, especially since when I booked to have my roof done Irma hadn't hit. Now I have to pay more due to companies have enough work and so much that they were able to increase the amount they charge also due to supply and demand the roofing products were also able to increase their price.
If they just had done it when they had promised to do it.
The only reason they're not doing it is because their quote is lower than what they would have charged because of the Irma. If Irma hadn't hit it would be no problem they would have done my roof, simply because they needed the business I'm I'm still waiting for a roof, but only two more months.
