Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was told by my insurance company that ALL BENEFIT BREAKDOWNS INCLUDE FULL DETAILS ON WAITING PERIODSTherefore SFPDP did have full information on my coverage and misinformed me regarding the nature and amount of my insurance coverageAs I could not afford and would not have ordered the service without insurance paying their portion, I ask that the balance remaining on the bill be adjusted Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

As I explained in our phone conversation, we are not always given the full details of a patient's insurance plan, even when a benefit breakdown is providedWe see hundreds of patients and will occasionally not get all of the information needed to give a complete estimateWe try our best to make
sure this is a rare occurrence, however things like waiting periods are always told to the patient either by the employer or the insuranceWe rely on the patient to inform us of these types of exclusions in their plansAgain, I recognize that is not a perfect system, and situations like this can arise I apologize for the miscommunication, the error was unintentional and unusual for our office.
