All Car Care Reviews (1)

I was quoted a different price over the phone and All Car Care never honored the price that was given to me. They ended up charging me more money.I had called All Car Care on November 11, 2013 to get a quote on a tune-up and transmission flush for my [redacted] car. The gentleman that answered the phone said he would have someone call me back. The [redacted] that handles the phone calls called me back and told me that it would cost $115.00. I dropped off the car on December 2, 2013 to have a tune-up and transmission flush done. My [redacted] called later on that evening to find out of the car was ready to be picked up, she was told that the coil needed to be replaced and it would cost over $400.00 with everything that needed to be done to the car. She asked why it was going to cost so much money because it was only supposed to cost her $115.00 for the tune-up and transmission flush. The [redacted] said that was not correct because the transmission flush alone cost $200.00. My [redacted] said that she couldn't afford to have everything done, so the flush would have to wait. She was quoted that the total was going to be $225.00 with the discount that our company gets. I spoke with the [redacted] about the difference and she kept apologizing because she made a mistake. I felt that when the car was to be picked up that I would discuss with the [redacted] about this issue. When my [redacted] and I went to pick up the car the price went from $115.00 to $225.00 to $246.00. I asked why the price keeps changing and she told me that she was just figuring out the numbers in her head and didn't use the computer to figure out the exact total. The [redacted] told us that she would give us the price of $225.00. I told her that she had quoted me $115.00 for the tune-up and transmission flush which was never done. She kept apologizing to me stating that she quoted me an incorrect number. I told her that because it was her mistake they should give it to me for the original price that was quoted to me because it was their mistake not mine. She told me that she can't do it. I then asked to speak to the [redacted]. We were first told that replacing the cost of the coil was part of the tune-up per the [redacted] and after she went back the first time she came back and said that replacing the coil was not part of the tune-up. I then said to her that she keeps changing her story and I would like to speak to the [redacted]. She went back and forth several times to speak with the [redacted] and never once did he bother to come out and speak with us. The [redacted] had the [redacted] that worked on the car come out, which I didn't understand why he had him come out to speak with us. The [redacted] made a comment that she always makes mistakes on the pricing. I told the [redacted] that I wanted to speak to the [redacted] and he needs to come out and talk to us. After being there for 45 minutes the [redacted] finally came out. I told him that I was sorry to bother him and the [redacted] had made a comment that I am not sorry and she was very being very [redacted] at this point to us to us. I said to him that she had called me back and gave me a price of $115.00 for a tune-up and transmission flush, he told me that he never heard her say that to me. The [redacted] said that she was sorry that she gave me the incorrect price over the phone in front of the [redacted] and he still didn't do anything. He then told me that replacing the coil was separate and I told him that the transmission flush was never done, so how is replacing a coil going to be more than a transmission flush. He said that he didn't know how much a transmission flush would cost. I said that your [redacted] quoted $200.00 for the transmission flush and how can you not know especially being an [redacted] of the business. After that he said to charge us $210.00. I felt that he should have come out the first time and apologized for the mistake that she made and honored the price that was quoted to me of $115.00. Any reputable business would have done that, which I did mention to the [redacted]. This was not my mistake it was the mistake of the business. After the Desired SettlementI want my money.Business Response A customer called for a quote on work she wanted for her [redacted] car. During the pre-inspection, the technician stated it needed additional work. I called and explained the job and part needed.I apologized for an error that was made in the original quote and it was explained to the customer before we started the work. We performed only what was authorized by the [redacted]. When they came to get the car, the [redacted] was not satisfied with the corrected, agreed upon price. We made multiple efforts to fix the situation resulting in a discount double the standard rate.We are sorry for the dissatisfaction. Our company has been successful for the past thirty nine years due to our integrity and loyal customers.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They did not make multiple efforts to resolve the problem. If any business quoted a price of the phone and it was their error they would have honored the original price that was quoted. That is what a good business would do. The [redacted] should have come out and apologize for what happened and he only came out to talk because I had asked several times. The tune-up was never done which was part of the original quote. The company has lost the business from the company that I work for because of what they did. The [redacted] doesn't want to admit they mistake and that is not a good practice for any business. I don't think by giving the customer an[redacted] is resolving the problem.[redacted]Final Business Response We performed a tune-up on the [redacted]'s Lexus. We replaced the spark plugs, and checked the air filter. We did not replace the fuel filter as this was declined by the [redacted].A check engine light was on. The car's computer was scanned, a cylinder was misfiring and a coil replacement needed. The price was quoted and approved by the [redacted]. When we realized the quote error we acknowledged the mistake right away and apologized many times to the [redacted] and her [redacted] both over the phone and in person. Many of their employees have used our services and have recommended us. We will continue provide quality work to them and all our customers.
