Review: this car company advertised on [redacted] that had air conditioning... I called the dealer [redacted] and questioned him to make sure that the air conditioner was working properly as I am in [redacted]. he assured me that it was working perfectly and that the vehicle was in excellent shape... the dealer had the vehicle shipped to me after I paid in full $9450.05... when the vehicle arrived here in [redacted] at my address and after inspection I found out that the vehicle had no factory installed air conditioning... and now the dealership is threatening me that if I don't take this vehicle they're going to sue me through their attorney... I have instructed them to look through their advertising on [redacted] and see where it says that the vehicle has AC... also it says in there terms and conditions that if the vehicle is not as described the vehicle must stay with the shipper which is what I did... it goes on to say that if vehicle is not as described they will return 100 percent of the purchase price... this dealership is being nasty in the noxious...Desired Settlement: I have sent their vehicle back to them with their shipper... I would like a full refund of my nine thousand four hundred fifty dollars and five cents... also I don't know if they're being ignorant by not acknowledging a vehicle's equipment properly or just being plain fraudulent.. in either case obviously I will never do business with them again,... [redacted] is also investigating... please help me with this you can reach me at [redacted] my cell phone or my landline ###-###-####

Review: 11-Jan-2015:

I was the winning bidder of a 2004 [redacted]) on [redacted] (Auction Listing # [redacted]), located in [redacted], CT.

P[redacted]

Owner is: [redacted]

I mostly dealt with: [redacted]

Prior to purchasing the truck, I:

Asked [redacted] questions about its condition

Paid for an [redacted] History Report

Checked for open recalls.

05-Feb-2015:

The truck was delivered by the [redacted] via open carrier.

26-Feb-2015:

I went to [redacted] to register, title, and plate the truck.

[redacted] had misspelled my name on the Bill of Sale and had filled in my signature date with 23-Jan-2015 (which pre-dated my receiving the truck’s paperwork on 02-Feb-2015, via the [redacted]). I had lined through and corrected these mistakes.

Due to the corrections, the [redacted] would not process my transactions. When I questioned them, they stated they wouldn’t have processed my paperwork, even if I hadn’t made the corrections, since the spelling of my name of the Bill of Sale did not match my ** driver’s license.

27-Feb-2015:

I contacted [redacted] via email, regarding the issues with the Bill of Sale.

Other than driving to the [redacted], the truck sat in my driveway, from the time it was delivered, because I did not want to drive it until after it was plated.

11-Mar-2015:

The corrected Bill of Sale paperwork arrived from P[redacted].

01-May-2015:

I took the truck to [redacted], on the west side of [redacted], for a used car check.

Before they started checking the truck, service desk personnel searched for outstanding recalls. They told me, in October 2014, the previous owner took the truck to a [redacted] Dealership and [redacted] determined ‘the frame was bad’ having rusted completely through in spots.

Upon hearing this, I asked them to cancel my appointment and returned home.

{Later, while speaking on the phone with [redacted] Corporate, I was informed the infamous frame prematurely rusting through issue, was not a mandated recall, but instead a voluntary “service campaign” (I can’t remember the exact terminology they used), but this campaign had expired in December 2012.}

02-May-2015:

I contacted [redacted], via [redacted] messaging, stating I’d discovered the truck needed a total frame replacement.

[redacted] replied, asking me to call them.

Initially, I didn’t call since I wanted everything in writing, and I thought I’d provided all of the information [redacted] needed.

07-May-2015:

At [redacted]’s request, I phoned [redacted].

[redacted] asked if the frame could be repaired or if it had to be completely replaced. I responded I wasn’t certain, but thought it needed complete replacement given the areas of complete rust through.

[redacted] asked that I take it to a shop for an estimate, and then get back with him, and we’d go from there.

10-May-2015:

I dropped off the truck at [redacted]’s Body Shop in [redacted].

13 or 14-May-2015:

I spoke with [redacted] on the phone.

He stated the frame was beyond repair and required a complete replacement. He also stated, replacing the frame was a bigger job than they wanted to take on.

[redacted] had also spoken with [redacted], the parts manager at [redacted] in Indianapolis.

[redacted] stated the frame should be covered under the [redacted]’s 15-year extended warranty.

14-May-2015:

I picked up the truck from [redacted]’s Body Shop.

15-May-2015:

The framed was checked out at [redacted] agreed the frame needed replacement.

[redacted], Service Manager, didn’t think [redacted] would cover. [redacted] stated the 15-year extended warranty went into effect at the time [redacted] either:

Sprayed the frame (if the frame had not deteriorated to the point that it needed replaced)

or

Replaced the frame.

Since [redacted] had not done either of these, he believed the 15-year extended warranty would not apply.

Nonetheless, as a last resort, he emailed someone at [redacted] Corporate, sending pictures of the frames condition. [redacted] stated he would hear back from [redacted] Corporate with a final ‘ruling’ within 48 hours.

[redacted] also stated total frame replacement would cost ~$10-$11,000, which is more than the truck was worth.

15-May-2015:

Given everything that had transpired, I was fairly certain [redacted] was not going to cover the cost of replacing the frame, so I contacted [redacted] of P[redacted], via email.

I stated, the frame had deteriorated enough that it couldn’t be repaired and needed to be replaced, costing ~$11k. Other than the frame, that I loved the truck and would love to keep it, but realized the $11k was more than the truck was worth.

If [redacted] wouldn’t pay for the frame replacement, then I asked [redacted] to reimburse me for all costs associated with obtaining the truck (and once their payment had cleared, I’d gladly sign the title over to [redacted]).

The fees and total:

[redacted]’s response was not favorable.

19-May-2015:

[redacted], Service Manager at [redacted], left a message on my cell stating [redacted] would not cover the frame replacement.

Based on the extent of the frame rot, it appears; [redacted] was aware of the frame’s condition prior to listing it on [redacted] and misrepresented the truck when they sold it to me.

The frame’s condition was omitted and not disclosed to me:

(1) In the auction listing verbiage[redacted]

(2) Through the 91 photos of the truck attached to the listing (a few of the wheel well, close-up pictures, appear to show the darker/newer looking spray – which lead me to believe, the frame hadn’t been bad enough for [redacted] to replace, but instead [redacted] had treated it with the spray to protect against rust as part of their “service campaign”)[redacted]

(3) In any of the sale paperwork[redacted]

(4) During the few phone conversations I had with [redacted] (and I believe, 1 phone conversation I had with [redacted]

(5) During any of our email correspondence (via [redacted] messaging and personal email).[redacted]I have copies of and would be happy to provide all of the following: the sale paperwork, the auction photos, screenshots of the [redacted] auction listing, and email correspondence (both personal and [redacted] messaging).Desired Settlement: I’d love to keep the truck, but if [redacted] wouldn’t pay for the frame replacement, then I ask [redacted] to reimburse me for all costs associated with obtaining the truck, which totals $8,236.60 (and once their payment has cleared, I’d gladly sign the title over to [redacted]).

Review: Hello, I purchased a 2005 Honda Element from All Car Care [redacted]. He sold the vehicle on [redacted]. He disclosed that there were no problems with it, that it passed it's multipoint inspection. Upon arrival I noticed many things that were noted by the delivery company as well. Here is a list of the items that the seller didn't disclose. 1. Four keys sent, only two work. Of those two one starts it, the other unlocks drivers side door.2. Locked glovebox that cannot be opened. 3. Chipped windshield. 4. That it needs brakes and rear rotors immediately. 5. Took over a week to get the title. 6. It was dangerously low on oil. 7. That there was rear damage to the bumper. 8. There was no remote for the keyless entry. 9. Stereo doesn't work at all. 10. Drivers side mirror doesn't work. 11. The fact that legally every tire needs to be replaced. 12. Missing pieces to put seats up in the back. 13. Leaks oil on the ground. 14. Bolts broke off to hold license plates. 15. Back window wiper doesnt work16. Power Steering pump is bad.17. Check engine light is on. [redacted] has deleted his account due to numerous bad seller feedback. I want to make sure a bad seller like this doesn't sell a bad vehicle like this to other unsuspecting patrons. I took this vehicle to my mechanic who let me know that I'm going to need to spend over $1800 to get this vehicle back up in good working order. Wrote a email to this [redacted] user letting them know that I was going to leave negative feedback, he wrote back threatening me with comments like "You bough the car as is and cheep. The minute you complain about me, I make sure your business goes down too. YOU HAVE LOTS TO LOSE I MAJE SURE YOUR NAME IS BED, you be all over the internet your clientele won't like it Good luck "Anyone threatening isn't a good vendor.Desired Settlement: I'd love to have an written apology, as well as a mark put on their record. I am following up with both [redacted], the DMV, as well as the attorney general for the state of CT. It'd be great to get a full refund, but I know asking for money back will probably never happen.
