Dear ***:This is my response to the complaint aboveWe never received any complaints about misleading any of our customers in our eight year in businessMore over, we take pride of guiding our clients towards the right direction even that means loosing business for that timeWe strongly
believe in values and principlesWhenever we receive inquiries about how to receive a full license before age of 18, we clearly tell them about Drivers Ed programWe advise parents/ students to look for a high school near them to sign up for Drivers Ed program. We clearly advise them that taking our services/ lessons will not replace the need for Drivers EDWe clearly advise our customers that taking our classes will prepare them for the road test and after successfully passing the test, the student will receive a junior licenseWe have seen parents signing up their kids for our classes, specially when their kids don't get in to Drivers Ed for that semester, then sign them up for Drivers Ed at the next available semesterThey consider our classes as first hand experience in how to drive safelyone of the benefits of having a junior license, the student can go to DMV and change their license to senior license, after successful completion of Drivers Ed programThey do not have to go to the road test againThis information is so also available on DMV website, ManualIt is hard to get confused about it.I am extremely sympathetic with *** *** for any inconvenience this lack of information has caused.Regards,*** ***

Dear [redacted]:Apparently [redacted] lodged a similar complaint with DMV which I have responded the same way I did to your Bureau. As our records with DMV is clean, they asked for additional paperwork to make sure we complied with their rules and regulations. We provided all the necessary paperwork to satisfy DMV's request. [redacted] has been with us for more than five years with no complains whatsoever. Moreover, he has a background for teaching kids at a high school. He is very familiar with the requirements for full license before 18. He would never provide any misleading information. If you wish we can provide you list of students who signed up with us and received junior license. You can ask them if we did not provide them the correct information. Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I am disappointed in this repsonse because as I have stated before, both my son and I were given the same answer when we asked about his license status at the completion of the driving course.  My son especially since he asked his instructor [redacted] directly on the day of his road test the next steps and was told he would get his full license once he turned 17.  I feel I am entitled to reimbursement for the false information that was provided to me.

Review: I signed my son up for driving lessons through this business. I was told that they would provide 10 one hour driving sessions for my son. They would also provide the vehicle for him to take his drivers test in. He also completed the 5 hour drivers education course. We were told that upon completion of all of this and his passing of his road test, he would get his full drivers license. They proceeded to charge me $580 for this not including the five hour in room class. My son turned 17 expecting to get his full license in the mail from the NYS DMV only to find out AFTER I called them to find out why the full license wasn't coming is when they told me that he still has to take drivers education for another $500 through his school! Why would I pay for someone to just teach my son to drive and give him a car to take his road test. I explained to the woman five times over the phone that this was never told to me when I set everything up with [redacted] and that I was specifically told that my son would get his FULL license upon completion of a successful road test.Desired Settlement: I would like my full $580 back from this company and an apology for misleading the customers into believing that they were doing the right thing in order to obtain a NYS license.
