Review: We hired All City Property Services to cut our grass twice a month when we moved to our house this past Spring. At first, everything seemed to work just fine. Our grass was cut twice a month just as we had agreed upon (although we never knew what day to expect them). We did, however, have issues with the payment. My roommates and I grew frustrated by the billing process because we never received any type of bill for the lawn services. We eventually had to reach out to the [redacted] who said it was strange that we weren't receiving the invoices via email and said she would try to send them again. They somehow all "miraculously" arrived in my inbox after I had asked her to send them and were all marked 'Past Due." Irritating, but we paid the invoices and all was fine. The same process happened a few months later when we realized that once again, we had not seen an invoice. We reached out to the management, asked them to send the invoices, and they, once again, arrived "miraculously" in my inbox. We also asked that they send paper invoices since we never received the emails on time; our request was disregarded.Because we had so much trouble receiving the invoices from All City Property Services, [redacted] suggested that we go ahead and pay in advance for the following month since we were sending a check anyway for the current invoice. We figured that made sense and aside from the payment issues, had not had any other problems with their services...yet.The the last week of following month, our grass had not been cut. We reached out to the management several times who finally said that we could expect it by the last day of the month: Friday, October 31. Friday came and no mowers. It has been almost three weeks since then and we have tried a countless number of times to get in touch with All City Property Services. We have called, emailed, and texted to no avail. It is evident now that they have completely turned off their phone and are avoiding us. It is beyond frustrating and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: At this point, we are more angered by the poor business practices of All City Property Services and want an explanation as well as a full refund of $40. Up until now, all that we wanted was for our grass to be cut! It looks terrible and we paid for a service to be done and we just wanted for them to come through on their end of the agreement. Now we will be happy to get our money back and never hear from this company again.
