Company charged full price for an inspecation they could not perform due to the pool being clean. Instead of honestly admitting that it would not be a complete inspecation. When I emailed them to ask if they intended to proform another inspection once pool was open I was told that they would charged me service fee to come out again.

Other (requires explanation) i would like the company to have been honest and state they could not truely perform a through inspecation and come out as a later time and perform one that will give me the detailed information i need to have a well running system without trying to get more money out of me.
Dear Customer, I apologize that our inspection service for your above ground pool was not able to be fully completed upon arrival on 2-8-18 due to the pool still being closed and covered. We alerted your agent of this on sight about what all we could do in this situation as I did not have any contact for you just for your real estate agent who scheduled this inspection for you that we work closely with on many pools. When we are doing pool inspections for our customers we always try to get them done when scheduled to meet closing deadlines on the new home/pool. If you reference the attached email between you and I you can see that I offered to provide a free re check if we could schedule it when we are in the Oakland, TN area which is once or twice a month as we do not usually service that area or if you wanted us to come back when we aren't in the area to only pay a $35 surcharge to help cover some of the gas and labor charges to come out there which I viewed as quite fair. I was also hoping you would respond to that email or call me with my number I left on the email but unfortunately never heard back from you in order to resolve this unexpected issue for you. Nonetheless I apologize that we couldn't have helped you out more in this situation.

The business owner stated he did not have my contact information but he was able to email me an invoice for payment. The business owner could have gotten my number from the real estate agent. As a female with no knowledge of pools I trusted the agent to recommend a company that would have been concerned with keeping me informed as they would want my future business. I would have assumed the business owner would have gotten my number from the agent and called to inform me that several items would be skipped because the pool was winterized. The business owner could have had a life long customer as well as getting more female customers who are not knowledgeable about pools. I can only assume the owner did not think that a female customer would question the invoice and definately not complain to the Revdex.com. As a small business owner I would assume the company would be concerned about the orginial email questioning the amount but that was not the case he only attempted to get more money. The mileage from the business to the location of the pool is 18 miles and the respond said nothing about the recheck being free. I have attached a copy of the correspondance. I also have a copy of the invoice I can send but it has personal information would like it to be assured it will not be given out. Also the names on the invoices are incorrect so it could be confusing. The agent recommed several companies to me and all were used this was the only business that made me feel as if I was taken avantage. The response to the Revdex.com even shows the business owner dismissive attitude in the last line.
Dear customer, I apologize again about this, you are right I should not have assumed there was a time constraint on getting the inspection done and had your agent provide your phone number just not your email address that he advised me to send the report to. I would like to offer you a free full inspection whenever you would like to schedule that with us, my direct contact line is ***. Has the pool currently been uncovered and started up for us to come re check everything for you and provide a detailed report? We would like to still earn your trust and business! Thank you.
