This is being written in response to your letter of May 5th, regarding Case No.: XXXXXXXMy name is *** *** and I am the owner of All Clear Pumping & Sewer located in Jefferson City, MissouriOn March 26th, we responded to a
customer's call regarding a sewer backupWhen we arrived at the home it was determined that the home had no proper access to the sewer and that there was no cleanout stackWe then quoted the customer a $price to put in the proper access and to hydrojet the lineThe following day on Friday, March 27th, we put in a proper sewer access cleanout stack and jetted the line in an attempt to clear the clogAt that time we also told the customer that it was possible that there were problems within the line and we would return at a later date to run the camera if necessary to determine any further problems
On the following day, Saturday, March 28th, the customer called and said he was still having trouble with sewer backupWe went back that day and attempted to hydrojet the line again, but without successWe tried to run the camera in the line but the camera became lodged in the main sewer lineWe spent approximately 1/hours on this trip attempting to solve his problemAfter the camera became stuck we knew that there was a problem within the line and we offered to repair his line and retrieve our camera for additional costThe customer said he would consider it
On Sunday, March 29th, the customer called me and became irate on the phone, cursed me and hung upI went to his home to discuss the problem and also offered to take the customer to lunch to discuss any problems which he felt were attributable to our companyThe customer refusedApparently he hired another company to repair the sewer line and retrieve the cameraWe have never gotten the camera back which costs approximately $1,
The work which was done for $was for installing the cleanout stack and hydrojetting the lineWhen it became obvious that the line was compromised additional fees would have been charged to repairWe have been in business since and have never had a prior complaint

I am rejecting this response because:I covered the cost of the job to the owner at the time I covered 200 cash to them and they added the rest on to the price of the house. So I did I fact pay for the services I just...

didn't write the check directly to All Clear. I did in fact notify their tech of the issue twice and never heard anything back. I'm sure their techs don't work for free and neither do I. I spent two days soaking up water with my personal rug dr. And the three days of the loud hot equipment in my house was a big inconvenience for me as it was hot out side and to loud to do anything inside much less the heat of the equipment. They probably did get only two gallons of water out of the floor but that's after the two days I spent cleaning water up myself. All I ask is a reasonable offer for my time and hassle for going threw this issue that never should have happened.
