Review: It has been 7 months now since all country moving and storage moved my family and I to Texas. The first complaint is that all country moving and storage sent 3 small movers to move the items. There were not able to move the furniture with clothes in them, and we were not told to have all clothing out of drawers. The movers began to remove items out of the drawers and repack them in boxes and using tape. After packing all of the items and moving them the movers told us that we needed to pay $1000 before they would continue with the moving. Secondly, the owner of all country moving and storage promised that we would receive our items on a Friday. My family and I did not receive our items until Sunday night around 10:30 pm. After unpacking the items we immediately contacted the owner [redacted] to let him know that we had many items that were missing. The movers also left behind a box spring which they stated that they were not able to get down the stairs, and the company never repaid for the box spring. The movers also left behind our file cabinet and my mother had to go over to the house and retrieve it. It is still in Milwaukee. [redacted]'s response was that the movers probably dropped them at the last drop and he had no way of contacting the people because the boxes went to a storage. Since then I have contacted [redacted] about the issue and still no response. He texts back to say, "No text, call me if you need something **" not sure who "**" is because I dealt with [redacted]. The last text that was sent was September **, 2013 and it stated, "any word on my lost boxes?" no response.Desired Settlement: I would rather have my missing items, everyday my family and I are missing items that were packed. Ex. Ladies Leather Boots, clothing, Pro finish nail drill, nail products, coats, hair clippers, caster iron skillets, dishes, movies etc. If for whatever reason the items are not found, I would like to have the company replace my items with cash.
