Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved My hopeful resolution to this was that they compensate at least the depreciated value of the lost ite** in which they have offered for $I have decided to take a loss and settle for $since I am pretty much a helpless consumer that feel that this is the best I can getMy deepest gratitude in even getting $350(as they were not even going to compensate me until I contacted Revdex.com) is with Revdex.com and I thank you from the bottom of my heartI just hope Atlas in the future will let every single of their customer know that the customer will be liable for every single item/box that is being loaded on their truck and that they let them know this upfront loud and clear even it may slow down their moving processThank you Revdex.com for your helpI really appreciate the very existence of Revdex.com.

I see from ACE Relocation Systems, Incresponse, the rejection of my claim is solely based on the "walk through" form I was pressured to sign. In response, I have further information I would like to be recognized as part of theinvestigation process. At the time of move out:• There were (sixteen) individual apartments moved out at one time.• There were six to eight (96-different) movers packing boxes all at the same time in 16, one bedroom apartments.• Then one person put numbered stickers on the boxes and filled out the “walk through” forms as to what was in the boxes. How could he know exactly what was in the boxes?• Then the procession started.o Six to eight (96-different) movers taking boxes from sixteen different apartments to four plus (4+) different trucks.• Then I was asked to sign the “walk through” form.o I walked through my apartment and saw it was empty.o Questioned the notations I did not understand on ‘walk through” form and was told it was okay to sign because everything was insured.Similarly at the time of mover in:? individual apartments moved in at one time.? Six to eight (48-different) movers taking boxes from approximately three (3) different trucks bring them to the apartments.? After everything had been delivered to my apartment it was apparent that I did not have a bed.o First the plan was to send me back to a hotel.o Then *** ***, Lead from ACE went looking for my bed. He did not find the bed but found the box spring (it is now 11pm),o And I am supposed to sleep on the floor. Did I mention I am years old with medical issues? The next day June 7, 2016 ACE returns with my bed and more boxes. Now I am asked to sign the “walk through” form saying I received all my item.I have experienced my bed and several boxes being misplaced.? Have not had the opportunity to go through the boxes.? Do not understand the hieroglyphics handwritten on the “walk through” form.? And guaranteed I had all my items by *** *** from ACE. He they packed everything so everything is insured.o Now I am beyond tired and pressured to sign the form…I sign.o When I unpacked I found several items missing.o I found bathroom items in a box labeled BR (bed room) etc.Several days, later *** brought items to my neighbor that had been found. somewhere? Also items were brought to me that was not mine. I requested those items be given to the proper party?? (Which was unknown to me?). Still have one item waiting to be removed from my patio. It has been a challenge to clarify the confusion and chaos associated with this transaction. I am optimistic you will reconsider my claim for missing and or lost items
Regards,

Dear Ms***,Our claims department has thoroughly reviewed your claim and had determined that we do not have adequate proof that there were indeed missing items. You signed the paperwork (attached) that acknowledges that everything that was removed from your origin residence was
returned to your destination residence. The claim was denied on July via a letter (attached) that was mailed to you. We are sorry you feel that items were missing but it simply cannot be substantiated. Best regards,Ace Relocation Systems

Hello Ms***,Thank you for reaching out to us through Revdex.com. I have left you a message and would like to discuss your claim with you furtherAfter an additional review of your claim our position has changed on some of the items initially denied. In the interim our claims team will send you a revised settlement offer for your review. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and we can discuss and I am sure we will find resolution.Thank you,*** ***

First, we apologies to Ms. [redacted] for the poor customer service during the move and for the broken items.  She should have a claims form to fill in and submit if she has not already. Regarding the charges for the move: we have been in regular communication with Ms. [redacted]'s employer regarding...

her complaint; they are ultimately responsible for the payment of her move.  The essence of the message is that the federally regulated tariff transportation cost changes slightly as the actual shipment weight decreases or increases. This is reflective in the actual invoice versus the estimate.   The original estimated weight was 4,733 pounds with a discounted transportation cost of $2,878.18, the actual shipment weight was 3,520 pounds with an transportation cost of $2,295.83. $60.81 per hundred pounds, and $65.22 per hundred pounds respectively. The only other difference is that there is a “small shipment” tariff charge of $415.47 when a shipment weight is under 4,000 pounds (that is the last line item on the invoice ).   The net result is the shipment weighed 1,213 pounds less than estimate resulting in the actual charges being $804.76 less than the original quoted estimate cost. All line item charges are in accordance with the Atlas Van Lines ATVL 1000 tariff and PayPal’s transportation agreement with Ace Relocation Systems, which extends a 67% discount.  We are happy to provide copies of the agreements and invoices to the Revdex.com and to have further discussion about this with Ms. [redacted]; we will continue to discuss with her employer, our corporate account.

Hello,We apologize for the tardy response to this claim.  This has been resolved with **. [redacted] and a goodwill gesture of $350 was offered and accepted on 2/21.  In our industry, we need to rely on the paperwork when working through clai** settlements and unfortunately for both parties...

there was not a mutual agreement on what that detailed in this instance.  Our, and Atlas' hope is that the goodwill gesture was a solution that worked for both parties. Thank you

Dear Revdex.com - we have a thorough process upon delivery of our customer's belongings.  It involves inventorying and chec*ing off all of the boxes that come off the truc* and into the home.  The inventory manifest is created at the time of loading the boxes from the home and onto the truc*...

initially at origin.  The customer is involved in this process at both ends.  The items that Mr. and Mrs. * claim we have lost were theoretically in boxes that were chec*ed off at delivery.  We ordinarily do decline reimbursement in situations li*e this.  However, as a show of goodwill, we have offered the requested amount to them.  We are sending a chec* today. We appreciate their business and their company's business, and we wish them the best in their new home.
