Thank you for your call this morning regarding the referenced complaint To summarize this complaint, we received a call from Ms [redacted] ' insurance company's emergency serviced dispatcher A break in was reported and we were advised that a board up was needed We responded The insured told our emergency crew that she was not to sign anything until she had estimates Our crew would have given her a verbal approximate amount as they do not have the ability to provide a written estimate on site Based on the attached document signed by Ms [redacted] she obviously received other pricing and chose All County Environmental to perform the board up Normally we send our estimate and invoice to the adjuster handling the claim which was the case regarding her loss The estimate we sent to the insurance company was for a little over $1,and this included repairs as well as the board up Ms [redacted] has a $1,deductible so the insurance company would have sent her any money over the $1,and she would be responsible for the differenceThat is how a deductible works We sent Ms [redacted] a copy of the estimate and although the adjuster did not catch an error on the estimate, Ms [redacted] did There was a line item on the computer generated estimate for framing with a charge of $Ms [redacted] called her adjuster, he called us, we looked at it and concurred that it was an error and corrected the invoice bringing the amount due to us down to $ We explained to the adjuster that when estimating certain subjects the category will suggest other items that pertain to the peril and in this case our estimator didn't realize that one item automatically added a related item to the estimateSometimes the item doesn't add or show until the estimate is printed We resent an invoice to the adjuster per his request and he was to send it to Ms [redacted] in the amount of $We have requested payment several times as this loss occurred in May of and unfortunately we have had to file a small claims court complaintOur court date is April 26, at 8:30am in the City of Fullerton If you require further assistance or information please do not hesitate to call me at [redacted] .Respectfully, [redacted] All County Environmental & Restoration, Inc
