All County Fuel Oil Reviews (4)

Review: On July **, 2014, All county charged my MasterCard for $241.46. This charge is not authorized. I have no receipt for this charge. I tried multiple times to call their phone ###-###-####. The phone number is out of service.Desired Settlement: I want a credit to my charge card

Review: The fuel oil company put through a credit card charge of $ 243.00 for unknown reasons. They never performed the annual service (paid for). Now they do not answer their phone, did nor respond to my letter. Are they still in business ?Desired Settlement: I am contacted and informed if the company is still operating and to reimburse for incorrect credit card charge $ 243.00 and reimburse for not providing annual service (cleaning etc

Sincerely,

Review: I have a contract with All County Oil for heating oil delivery and furnace service, which cost $241.59. All County Oil has authority to charge on my Discover card for home heating oil contained in a 1000 gallon tank. A charge appeared on credit card bill for oil delivery, but All County Oil gave no delivery ticket for delivery of oil. I ran out of oil and had to call for service. Upon my request for an "Original" stamped meter ticket, a copy sent looks fabricated as it clearly shows it was altered, and inaccurate. I cancelled the charge on the credit card. This is not the first time an original delivery ticket has gone missing after having been billed for oil by All County Oil.

In an effort to settle the matter, my daughter called, and spoke to customer service representative [redacted]. During the conversation, the matter of annual furnace service came up, and in anger [redacted] cancelled the contract and rudely hung up the phone. I am completely dissatisfied by the fact that I ran out of oil, and it is uncertain what damage to the furnace, if any has been caused by getting so low in the tank. I have a 1000 gallon tank for the sole purpose of not running out of fuel.Desired Settlement: Initially, I wanted a stamped meter ticket as proof of delivery. Now, as a result of complete rudeness, I refuse to pay for oil that cannot be substantiated without proof of delivery. And, I want the money I paid for a contract where I held up my end of the agreement by purchasing fuel exclusively, and didn't get my furnace serviced.

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by All County Fuel Oil regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I have insisted on getting an "Original" delivery ticket, and have not received one. Also at issue is the fact that I was charged for a service contract, and received no service, meaning furnace maintenance. This whole issue is a result of "driver error" (whatever that means), admitted by All County Fuel Oil, and I find it unprofessional to bill an account with no accurate documentation (meaning an altered copy of a delivery ticket, that frankly looks completely fabricated.)

Telephone calls to their office were terse and rude, subsequently all communication has been in writing to Revdex.com and [redacted]. In lieu of the fact of an extremely difficult winter, that still has no bearing on All County Fuel Oil's poor record keeping. Without an "Original" stamped delivery ticket, anyone can fashion a copy simply by cutting and pasting on a copier. All I wanted was an accurate meter ticket, and when I was met with such a negative attitude from customer service representative [redacted], I became suspect.

Sincerely,

Review: We have a Service Contract with All County Fuel and have been customers of theirs for 19 years (our aunt owned the home for 22 years prior to us and used All County Fuel). We have had repeated problems with them demanding that we allow debit from our bank account for auto-delivery of oil, which we reluctantly allowed. They charge when they are not authorized repeatedly and we have to call them repeatedly to fix the problem, BUT now the problem is service for our boiler and furnace. We have been calling them for a boiler that continually is shutting off (this after "new" parts were replaced 2 months ago.) We have been calling them for 4 weeks and leaving messages that we MUST have the boiler repaired immediately as we have tenants. We have received NO responses to all of our messages and now the phone is disconnected and we have been unable to get a hold of them. We PAID our hard-earned money to this company for the Service Contract and NEED service!!Desired Settlement: I want my boiler repaired and if not, then a return of my Service Contract fee because we are getting NO SERVICE
