I had a wonderful experience with the professionalism and proper workmanship displayed by the two gentlemen that cleaned my windows today! I was so impressed with how the windows turned out! They are like brand new! I would definitely recommend All County Window Cleaning to my friends! I will fill out the survey and mail it in, but I just wanted to post this on line to let everyone know how pleased I am!

Review: All county windows came to clean my windows on July 10th 2013. The representative presented me with a damage waiver to sign in case my windows were scratched by the scraping process used with razor scrapers. The rep made the verbal representation that scratching only occured on older windows (mine are 3 years old) and that he and his assistant were trained to know when the scraping was scratching windows and would stop.

After the windows were cleaned I noticed that they were scratched. After contacting the owner [redacted] he said that the scratching was due to imperfections in the glass but he "felt bad" about the scratching and sent his employee [redacted] out to try to buff out the scratches. When I mentioned to [redacted] the verbal reprensentations his employees made to me about the low risk of scratching, he stated that the employees were not supposed to say that and were being "retrained".

[redacted] attempted to buff the scratched out of one window but explained that due to imperfections in the glass, more scratches were being created. I then instructed him not to continue.

Following this I contacted the glass manufacturer ([redacted]) about proper cleaning of this type of glass. The manufacturer rep directed me to their web site where there is a bulletin on how to clean glass. It expressly states not to uses scrapers of any kind when cleaning windows. This recommendation comes from the [redacted]

I contacted [redacted] after this and he stated that scraping windows was a common industry practice in window cleaning and that I had signed a damage waiver. I confirmed that [redacted] was unwilling to correct the damage.Desired Settlement: Since the scratches were caused by the cleaners scraping the windows and that they made verbal representations that this would not happen, I want All County Windows to pay for replacement glass on all windows that were scratched including all labor involved to accomplish this.

Attached you will find a signed damage waiver releasing ACWC from liability against defective glass. Mr [redacted] was made aware prior to cleaning that with the tempered glass windows in the back of his home there was a chance of damage. using razor blades on glass is and has been the industry standard for many years. We safely clean millions of pieces of glass each year with the use of razor blades.
