Mr. J[redacted] was not on schedule, in fact he was fired after he was 3 days past his accepted time frame and issued a warning because of this. He didn't complete **% of the work, in fact, everything Mr. J[redacted] did complete had to be redone. Several of the pillars Mr J[redacted] was going to utilize were not mixed properly and would have crumbled under the weight of the house.  Me. [redacted] does have a background in construction and is well aware of what it takes to read level and complete a job according to task, and how to provide what he says he is going to to his customers.  I wish Mr. J[redacted] well in future endeavors.  I would just request that you warn others that unless he has a change in his work ethics and craftsmanship, buyer beware.  However, you do not have to take my word for it, I would be happy to provide pictures so you can decide yourself.
Regards,[redacted]

We needed some leveling work done on our flooring, and allcrawlspace was recommended to us by [redacted]. I called [redacted] and arranged for him to inspect our house. He came at the appointed time, inspected, and told us it was a relatively easy repair. he was very engaging -- a good salesman. I asked him to send me a bid, and he agreed. Several days later he called to set a date for his crew to begin the work. I reminded him he hadn't sent us a bid, and told us that I wasn't going to approve any work being done without a written proposal. He apologized and said he'd send one out immediately. This was repeated two more times, without any contract forthcoming. In the meantime, I contacted another foundation contractor ([redacted], who provided a written contract less than 24 hours after his inspection. I'm still waiting for [redacted] to provide something so I can reject it. It was clear that he was fully prepared to begin work on our house without ever providing a contract.

[redacted] called because he received the complaint.  He did send an invoice and when he didn't hear from the customer and everything was paid, he thought everything was OK.  The vents are...

temperature activated and some of the vents were in sunlight and would probably be warmer and therefore not close as quickly as those in the shade.  He explained this to her and she said she understood.  He will go by tomorrow (12/02/14) and bring her a paid invoice and check any concerns she has and he will then call us back.

The job was completed on time and to my satisfaction.
I would use his services again if needed.

Review: I paid this company to clean mold and put in a vapor barrier in a crawl space in my house. The contract states that hey would haul the trash away for $200. The trash to this day remains in my yard. I cannot get the owners to answe my calls at this point. My husband is now going to have to haul the trash and we are out $200.Desired Settlement: I want the $200 that I paid to have the debris removed as now I have to do it myself.

This contractor presented himself as a experienced and honest self-employed businessman. We took him at his word and he performed what we agreed. He had to be called numerous times to complete the work as agreed. Then having access to under our home came and took a piece or equipment off as he stated 'this pump has been recalled and needs to be replaced'. It has been months with many phone calls and messages with no results of him returning our paid for equipment. Would not recommend this business to solve you crawl space troubles...ours is as it was when we started.

Review: They were to complete clean up of the crawl space, dry it out, and install new moisture barriers. While doing so noticed a structural issue. The original total was to be $1,950.00. I made a $1,000.00 deposit on 9/30/14 for the original work. I was charged twice for this. Once on 9/30/14 and again on 10/1/14. The structural issue was an additional $1,200.00 to be completed. Once all the work was done and I approved they billed the remaining $950.00 for the first project and $1,200.00 for the extra work. Work was great. The work has been completed for about two weeks now. I have called at least 10 times about getting copies of my paid invoices and have had no luck. Once I looked over the credit card statement I just received I found where they had charged me twice for the deposit. I just want the $1,000.00 credited back to the credit card and copies of the paided invoices.Desired Settlement: Want the $1,000.00 put back in credit card and copies of all paired invoices.

Review: Contracted to put adjustable columns under house including room in north-west section of house to stablilize house, remove insulation, put down vapor barriar. The contractor who ended up in hospital the day work was done, failed to mention to workers that this included one or two jacks under the northwest room. When I realized that that had not been done, Harold smith acknowledged that this should have been done and that it would be corrected. I paid him in fun even though this promised work had not yet been done and the adjustments of the jacks had not started.I started calling Mr. S[redacted] each day getting only voice mail. I also sent emails often. He never returned calls or emails. Finally on July 30, 2015 he called to say he would be out that evewning to determoine materials needed to finish the NW room. He never came nor did he ever call. His workmen came out one time to adjust jacks which was suppose to happen four or five times over the next few months.Desired Settlement: I would like for Mr. S[redacted] to add one or two jacks and sister board to level the dropped flooring under NW room (as he said he would do) and adjust the other jacks under the house three or four more times (as he promised) until I am satisfied with the level of the floors. I would also like for him to let me know when he is coming and stand behind his word. I would like for this to be completed before winter.

Review: [redacted] with All Crawl - performed two services at the house. One - treated all floor joists with boric acid wash, install 10 mil vapor barrier with overlapping seams on crawlspace floor and it included a TWO YEAR workmanship warranty on all repairs. ($500.00) performed a nice job and provided great customer service. He sent an invoice. Two - the second job same location - he installed new vents (contractor style) which close according to the weather and replaced a crawl space door with a new one. ($650.00).Compliant - on the second job I have contacted him several times to get an invoice and can't get one. I did pay him......also, I ask him to come back and take a look a few of the vents installed as they are loose.I leave messages and send e-mails and no response. This work was performed in September, 2014. I have been trying for two months.Regards,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Would like an invoice for the second job.....and for him to come and check the loose vents (especially before winter)[redacted]

Review: On June 13, 2013 we gave All Crawl ([redacted]) $900.00 to dehumidify our crawl space of our month old home. He told us he would install a dehumidifier , condensation pump, seal off the vents, seal the door and repair the crawl space vapor barrier. We paid him in full for all the supplies and his labor. A few days later we contacted to let him know that the dehumidifier was working , however the condensation pump was not. He told us he would be out to either repair the pump or bring us a new one. He returned while I was not home and told my mother that the pump was broken and it needed fixed. When I returned home later that day, I saw that both the dehumidifier and pump were gone. I contacted him and he told me he would be out with a new dehumidifier and pump and to fix the issue. This was the last contact I have had with him. He never showed up to remedy this issue. He will not answer my phone calls or emails.Desired Settlement: I would like my $900.00 refunded to me. He did not fulfill our written contract and has taken the supplies that I have paid for.

Response:

I spoke with [redacted] from the company. He states he came out and installed everything correctly. When the customer called to say something was not working correctly he came out and found their was a defect in the dehumidifier and so he took the parts to have them returned to the manufacturer and the manufacturer would ship a new one within the week. He had to go out of town for a little while due to personal reasons and when he returned the [redacted]'s no longer wanted the company to come back. They requested $450.00 refund to end the deal. The company wrote the check out and sent them a letter asking for them to sign stating they would not mention this experience online or in personal conversation. The company never received the letter back signed therefore no check was released. The company is willing to provide a refund of thr $450 originally requested if the customer's agree to no longer publish anything about the company or to come back out to the home to install the parts.

WARNING about All Crawl and H. Jones. Regardless of what [redacted] says, All Crawl is nothing more than a scam, in my opinion. The contractor is a very personable, believable, smooth-talking family man. He may bring his children to the first meeting. Don't be fooled by that. I hired him to encapsulate my crawl space, including walls, floor, and vents. He was to push up the falling insulation. He also was to install a dehumidifier draining to the outside. His team covered the walls, floor and vents but not in a professional manner. Because of continual no shows, it took about a month to do the job. The plastic is very loose and the tape is peeling up at places. A few vents are leaking light. After this stage, [redacted] took all his supplies and has not returned (over 2 weeks). The insulation repair, the tape repair, the vent repair have not been done. He has not brought a dehumidifier to install. Two of my last 3 calls were taken, and he said he would without fail be over to finish that afternoon. It never happened. The last call went to voice mail. I left the message that he had breached my contract. I probably will not see any of the $2750 he was paid. I do have the plastic and vents' covers, so he did do some work and the materials seem to be high quality. To have another company finish the job would be $5300 more because they tear out all the plastic and start from scratch. I have a day to day journal of my calls to him and if he returned the calls or came to work. I have also filed a report with my county sheriff, Revdex.com, [redacted], etc. One final note: The contractor is not doing crawl space encapsulation according to code [redacted] so that must be done by the property owner at additional costs of $500 or more. My contract had a different address on it: [redacted]. The company's phone number is [redacted]
