***,The sealing of the concrete was not written in the contract This was a verbal agreement that was also communicated via text messageI do have the text messages between myself and AllCrete stating that they would return to seal the concrete. Thanks,***
We would like to take the time to get this squared away in regards to *** the owner thinking he got a bad patioHis job is to industry standards and looks rather stunning *** is having problems because the patio was not sealedWhen your doing a colored patio you do not seal it in any form of
chemical due to liability, a customer slipping , and the color fadingI have multiple pictures of this mans patio ,and we also shot the elevations with a lazer to make sure it drains properlyHe has someome behind him coherseing him into getting a free job for some odd reasonIve ran into people just like *** over the years and once they think they're going to get something for free they will not stop at anythingThat sad part about the whole situation is his job normally would have cost him around dollarsBut of course I felt sorry for him and did the job for half of thatBut you live and learnThank you
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.AllCrete's response does not address any of the issue's listed in my complaint. For a so called "professional" to say that sealing concrete causes color to fade is just ridiculous. Sealing the concrete help protects the concrete. Also, it was part of the contract to seal the patio. The bottom line is the contractor received his payment in full and never returned. I have text messages saying that they would return to seal the patio. They had never mentioned any negative affects to sealing.[redacted] did originally shoot the elevation with a laser level several days prior to pouring the patio. But I have video evidence that the day of the pour, he removed the form work and never verified the elevation again. The result is a patio that dips in the middle and then rises again, not shedding water properly.
[redacted] also mentions that he felt sorry for me and did the job half price? I have no idea what this means or why he would feel sorry for me. That makes no sense since prior to the job we have never met. AllCrete simply is not a professional contractor. The lies and excuses were never ending while dealing with this company. Once they receive their payment they disappear. This is a shady contractor going from one job to the next, providing sub-par work.
