Thank you [redacted] for the information. We reviewed your prescription and it is properly documented and performed by the licensed Optometrist. We provide eye care services for over 6000 patients annually and that's what patients use. We are not sure what generic prescription means? please clarify. the prescription copy you have can be used anywhere to buy glasses and if your vendor has any issues with it, please have them call us. Regarding the claim, thank you for sending a copy of your claim. As you can see it is your insurance company that determines the copay and your financial responsibility. The claim states that your responsibility is $40, which is what the office collected. Am I missing something?  I think you asked in your response to change the codes so your services are covered by a lower copay by the insurance. This is against our professional ethics and standards. Doctors are the only ones that determine these codes strictly based on the services provided and other medical factors. In any event, it is our policy that patient care and satisfaction should never be hindered due to financial reasons and we would be happy to provide you with a $30 credit back which is what you are asking for.     Regarding the glasses: you never purchased glasses from us this year. I am not sure what your ask is. Last year you purchased glasses from us for $10 copay but this year  your insurance coverage changed. Please note that in addition to insurance, glasses and pricing vary a lot depending on the quality of lenses used and technology of these lenses. If are looking for budget friendly glasses, we do carry these at $199 but of course you can use the copy of your prescription to buy glasses anywhere of your choice.
