July 06, Dear [redacted] , We are responding to complaint ID: [redacted] by patient [redacted] and we would prefer to present an explanation of our position The patient purchased progressives from our office and upon receiving them, was unhappy with the finished productFirst time progressive users are told that there is an adjustment period of at least a week to get used to the new prescription The patient failed to try and adhere to their new glasses and refused our offer for a remake of their choice lensesWe obliged the patient’s requests and offered him a refund with the deduction of a 30% restocking feeThis charge is associated with services already rendered and includes charges for the lab work necessary for the production of the lensesThis restocking fee has always been a part of our office policy and can be found in the invoice of every transactionUnfortunately due to this disclaimer, we will be unable to comply with the patient’s requestIf there is any additional information necessary, please let us knowRegards, All Eyes Optometrists
