We has a horrible experience with Patrick at All Flooring DesignsHe told us about his years experience and made us feel that he knew what he was doing, but we quickly learned that it was a big mistake hiring himWe booked him for when we were out of town during the holidays so that we would be out of the way so he could do his jobWe moved all of our furniture off the hard wood floor and into the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroomsWhile we were gone, he contacted my husband & let him know that he (or his "new helper" made a mistake and cleaned our floor with something that it was not supposed to be cleaned with, which caused streaking all thought the houseHe said we can "figure out a game plan" when we returnWhen we returned, we could not believe how terrible the floors lookedNo only where their bad streaks all throughout, but there was also black specs of sharp wood or something that was stuck in the sealant coming throughAlso, discoloration in random areas of the house which we later learned were made in his effort to try and fix that damage he had already madeAlso, he used a tape that pulled the paint off of our trim in the entire downstairs of our house(We were informed that there might be a few areas that need to be touched up, but in reality, the entire trim needs to be replacedWe met with Patrick when we returned home and he said he would come back and resend the floorswhich he did(My daughter and I had to find an alternative place to stay for a couple nights because we did not want to breathe in the chemicals (which is why we booked him while we were out of town in the first place)When we came back to see the finished work, it was better than it was, but still a terrible jobThere are still streaks in the floor (in fact, he did not even redo the closets)I asked him why the closets still looked so bad & he said "oh I didn't redo the closets." I asked why and he said "because I just didn'tI figured you would probably put something on the floor to cover it up anyway." In addition, there were a couple of small projects we discussed with him several times (a small hole that he was supposed to fill and a lock for our french doors that was supposed to be put back into the floor) that he just never didWhen we did the final walk through, we asked him about those projects and he said "I'll come back this weekend and do them"Of course he did not We are thrilled to have recently moved into our new home and we have been working hard to get our new home in nice conditionNow we have hard wood floors that are not fixableThey cannot be sanded againI am sick over this but it is something that I will have to live withI HIGHLY suggest NOT using this company
