Review: I paid for a service which was later denied. I had bailed someone out of jail. I'am the co signer and a week later his bail was revoked and then exonerated.the owner [redacted] told me I was no longer financially responsible for paying any of the owed money because of that. I gave them my car as collateral and now they say I can not have my car back even though I have a collateral recipet and I no longer owe any money
They lied to me they also told me to lie to the police about the person they revoked bond from just because they said he had an attitude. They also threatenedto physically hurt the man that I had bailed out of jail. They did not follow our contract they did not store my vehicle in a storage like they were supposed to and they have also been driving my vehicle around for personal use and in result of that they wrecked it and it now has more miles and some damage done to it.Desired Settlement: I would like for the bail agency to return my property. Also I would like for the damages to be repaired

Response:
In regards to the complaint made;Ms. [redacted] co signed to bail out her boyfriend on a $100,000 bond. Ms. [redacted] was to pay 10% which is $10,000. She has not made any payment or any attempt to pay our company. collateral was taken and documented as payment for the bail. The client was placed back in custody due to Ms. [redacted] calling our office multiple times asking to have the defendant [redacted] surrendered. Once the defendant is free from jail we have done our job and bail premium of 10% is due. We are legally allowed to liquidate collateral if bail premium is not paid. Furthermore both [redacted] and [redacted] have come to our home threatening me at gun point and we have had to take this situation very seriously. The defendant was arrested for threatening our family. We have tried to give them the option of paying the bail and getting the vehicle back and they both refuse. This is becoming a bigger issue now. We have no obligation to return collateral and we really just ask that they both leave our family and business alone.Thank you.
