Since processing electronics produces a net loss for recyclers, this program is in place to ensure that e-waste can be...

processed properly.In an effort to assist non-profit organizations and schools, All Green arranges events with various entities in order allow them to raise funds through this program. In this case, All Green acts as the recycler and handles all of the work involved in logistics, processing and submitting payment claims to the state of California.At the same time, we are not in control of California’s payments and some of these payments can take many months to be processed. Currently, the state of California’s CalRecycle program has not provided payments for the months in question; therefore, it is completely out of our hands. We have submitted paperwork to CalRecycle for payment and have inquired multiple times but they have not approved the claim at this time.While CalRecycle typically provides payments within 3-6 months, they are currently taking much longer. In fact, All Green has yet to collect on anything submitted as of 10 months ago!After hearing that [redacted] was urgently looking to receive these funds, the family of the owner of our company opted to make a personal donation in order to cover the $306.62 that would be owed to [redacted] upon payment from the state. This is a decision made by the CEO and his family for several schools and nonprofit organizations in an effort to help alleviate the difficulties they are facing as a result of CalRecycle’s lack of payments. Review: We called All Green and scheduled a pick up for a tv. In order to schedule an appointment, they needed to charge $30 before a truck would come. We did that, and per their cancellation policy (copied below), we cancelled a few hours later. We found that our local recycling would take it for free. [redacted] at All Green said the refund was approved and that it would show in our account 10-15 days later. The order was placed and cancelled on August 17, 2015. There is still no refund, and the company has stopped responding to my inquiries as to where the refund is.

As noted, their refund policy:

Please note our cancellation policy: You are able to cancel up to 3 business days prior to the day of your pickup and still receive a refund.

However, if you cancel within 3 business days of your pickup or on the same day of your pickup, you will not be eligible for a refund.Desired Settlement: A refund of $30.

Review: This is an electronic recycling pick-up center. I arranged to have a television picked up for disposal on December 30, 2014. I was moving the next day and that was the only day available. They never showed up and never called. I called and they said their truck broke down. I asked why they didn't tell me so I could make other arrangements and they had no answer. I asked for a refund (I paid $30) and they said they will process it. That was a month ago and I still haven't received the refund. I have called since then and they give me the run-around. The numbers they give me are bogus numbers and their mailboxes are full so you can't leave messages. The numbers they gave me are [redacted] and [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $30.
