We purchased/finance 2 units of the pure air air cleaner/cooler at the la county fair on 9-22-2019.
We were told by the sales person that it will reduce our electrical bill because the unit would not cost much to run all day, it's similar to running a fan. The sales person said that it would cool a 300 square feet room and therefore you will not have to run the ac in your house. We purchased the units for the cooling aspect of the machine and was excited that it would lower our electrical bill.We were told to put the ice blocks that came with the machine in the reservoir and for extra cooling to put ice cubes in the reservior. The next day the temperature reached 90 degrees, we used the units as explained to us at the booth and even added ice cubes to the reservoir. We were disppointed that the unit did not cool our room, which is a small room, well below 300 square feet. The sales person said that we had 10 days to return the unit with a full refund. We called several times and received a voicemail, subsequently we emailed the company several times as well even stating that we were willing to drive to their office in Victorville California to return the two units. Finally, Chuck responded back and said that with finance orders and discount orders there are no refunds. This was never disclosed to us by the sales person or Chuck who was at the booth. Chuck went on and on about how each unit that is returned had to have a new hepa filter put into the unit justifying that it will cost him $50 dollars to repackage, inspect, and put in the new filter. We told him we don't mind paying the $50 dollars resocking fee and we will drive to his office to return the items so he didn't have to pay for shipping cost. He told us we can't because it was financed and discounted at the fair. If the salesperson would have disclosed this, we would have never purchased the units. They are not cheap at $327 per unit and that is discounted from the normal $499 retail price. Also, another complaint was that we were told that we would have to pay $50 dollars extra for each unit because we were going to finance the units.
Overall I am very disappointed with this company, their marketing tactics and their unwillingness to resolve this issue. Our $40 fan works better than pure air's $500 dollar units. I had to put one star due to this format however if there was a zero star option I would leave this company zero stars. Any attorneys out there. Is this company operating legally?

I purchased an online item but the next morning I cancelled the item with the controller of the company named ***. She assured me the order was cancelled and she would give me my refund of $296.84 back to PayPal. 14 days passed without any action taken so I called her on her cell phone and she told me that nobody had ever returned or cancelled an item and that she did not know how to do a refund. She did not indicate that she would try to resolve the issue but instead just kind of blew me off and then hung up on me. I tried calling back but she would not answer the phone.

We purchased, but did not receive, a Magic Ion Cleanse foot detox machine costing $1,572.11 on Saturday, 9-16-17; however, the next day, I searched the product on You tube and found out this product is a scam. I contacted the seller, *** on Monday, and was told that all sells are final. Since the machine was supposed to be delivered through the mail, we asked for the product to be cancelled; especially, because we did not have possession yet. *** told us to call the office ; however, I was told that *** has to cancel the order on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I called *** and he promised to cancel the order. Today, we received a bill in the mail for $1,572.11 from Genesis Credit , account# ***; however, they claimed that they cannot do anything about this bill. I called *** again today, and he said that he will talk to the office again regarding cancelling this order. Remind you that we still never received the machine.

I purchased an ATVB box from this company a year ago from a sales representative named Ruben. Skeptical of the technology and the legalities behind it, my wife and I asked a lot of questions. One of the most important questions we asked was, " Are there any fees or subscriptions?" We were informed that all updates to service would be over the internet and at no cost. So we paid the $299 price and went home with our ATVB box.
One year later, I find myself at the fair were we originally purchased the box and come across the ATVB booth where there are sales representatives selling the same box I purchased only the interface is different. I asked how I could get that interface on my ATVB box. They responded by stating that for $150 upgrade annually, I could get the latest software. Not hardware, software! The representative asked me some questions about the hardware I had, and stated that the hardware was indeed the same as what they were selling at that moment. I reminded them of what we were promised a year prior, no subscriptions, all updates free over the internet... They tried to sell me that they had gotten very busy over the year and needed extra staff. Unbelievable! Mind you, this is a streaming box with a annual subscription that they want you to believe is for maintaining the system. I believe this practice is illegal. You can sell the box, but not the content as they do not own it. Paying $150 per year for pirated tv and movie streams is ridiculous. Raise your hardware price if your overhead is too high.
I tried to discuss my concerns with "Kim" who I was told is a manager within the company. She wouldn't call me back, gave ridiculous analogies about used cars and appears to have an anger problem. She stated that she didn't care if I was a previous customer or not and took things very personally.
All I wanted was to be grandfathered into their new software, as that was how the product was marketed to me only a year prior. Their product works but, they are not up front with their customers, don't care about their customers, and have atrocious customer service.

Failure to deliver the part necessary for my Magic Fit machine to work properly. I have been waiting for months and I believe I have been given the run around. I've spoken to the sales and support departments. I've been told to call another person by name of *** who continues to tell me he is looking into it although he promised to have the part delivered. It's been about three months and the problem has not been remedied.

We understand that you received a complaint about our company from a customer / Virginia Diaz on 7/31/17. We found in our records that we replaced her product on March 2018 with a new unit. We delivered the unit and set it up for her and took her old defective unit back. This issue has been resolved.
