I am rejecting this response because: His information is incorrect I did not agree to a upgrade and that is not the reason for the additional charges This company did not fix my air conditioner and I did not need a new unit I had two air conditioner companies tell me that my unit was repairable and one of the companies had my air conditioning fixed within an hour and my air conditioning works great now this company Infinity air is a scam they don't show up for appointments they don't complete the job and I want my money I paid them back they held up my air conditioner from being fixed for over a month in triple degree weather and they don't deserve to have any money I paid them when they did not fix the air conditioner

Message: This work order was sent over to me via email from [redacted] on August at PMWe serviced on September On September We were still waiting for authorization from her home warranty companyFor the week of September through the 11th I was out of the office for a family emergencyOn September at PM I was finally authorized for an installationOn Tuesday, September the homeowner was asking me via email about upgrading her AC to a larger oneThat same day in an email I let her know that we would need to go back to her home and get a detailed parts list for an upgradeOn September we were back at her home to get a detailed parts list and take measurementsWhen we went back over our list we realized we needed to contact the city because we had some questions regarding some code issuesThere was an additional $for some code upgrades + $for a drain line re-pipe that we tried to bill [redacted] When those items were declined by the warranty company the cost falls back to the homeownerThe homeowner then refused to pay for the additional costThe $trade fee is part of the homeowners contract with [redacted] [redacted] The homeowner would have been required to pay the $trade fee no matter who was out thereThis air-conditioning unit was 30+ years oldIt should not have been repaired

The tenant was already off work that day to take her son to a doctor appointmentThe only appointment time she would be available that day was between 12-Around 3pm that day a phone call was made to American Home Shield to advise them that we would not be able to service thisThe representative quickly dispatched a different companyNo service was ever preformed for this customerThanks [redacted]

I inspected the unit on Saturday, September 2, & because it was over the weekend, I never had a chance to call the warranty company to share my diagnosis with them. If I had to start working on the unit, I would probably realize that the issue is something differentThere were no repairs done on the unit; however, I would like to apologize for any inconveniences.The homeowner may follow up with *** for the service fee as indicated before should he changes his mind. I'm not worried about the $125 deductible I paid [redacted]. I would like an email explanation from Infiniti Heating and Air on how their service tech claimed my AC unit needed a new compressor. All it needed was a simple, inexpensive relay switch. Was this an honest mistake on the part of the service tech from Infiniti? If I don't hear from them; I'll file a complaint against their license with CA state license contractor's board.

We also received a call from [redacted] today notifying us that the homeowner chose to go with a vendor that does not have a contract with [redacted]. It is unfortunate that we received a complaint; however, we did not collect a service fee from this homeowner. It was collected through [redacted]...

The first time we went out to the property was in August 2017 and diagnosed the issue as needing a new compressor a copper line modification and Freon.  The copper line modification and Freon is not covered through [redacted].  I advised the customer of the non-covered...

cost of $550.00.  Customer argued back in forth with [redacted] about the non-covered.  We stayed in contact with customer via email and phone from the first visit until even after install date.  The costs went up after the new year, however we told the customer we would stand by the price we quoted her back in August 2017. Customer did not have the funds until mid to end of February.    We received a work order from [redacted], we were advised that we had to go back to the property first to confirm the issue is still the same and nothing has changed since last visit.  We did so and we went out to the home on February 19th 2018 and confirmed same diagnosis. Once [redacted] ordered compressor we went back out to install the compressor copper line and Freon on 2/28/18.  The compressor has a one-year warranty. However, we did not receive any type of contact via e-mail or phone regarding her unit.  She should have contacted us directly with any type of concerns or issues so we can make any corrections if there are any corrections that need to be made.  We have been contracted through [redacted] for over ten years and still presently contracted.

We have received your letter about a complaint that you received about our company. I have contacted the customer and issued them a full refund without needing them to return the product they ordered. I emailed all the customers that had orders shipped out on April 15th. packages were lost or misplaced at a [redacted] shipping facility. The packages sat and were not moved until we were contacted by customers saying their tracking number hadn’t updated.  So we contacted [redacted] shipping facility and they got the packages out the door the following day and onto the customers. We emailed everyone that was a part of that mishap. It’s possible we missed this customer on the explanation. But she has been allowed to keep the product that was then delivered on May 4th and received a full refund. I am rejecting this response because:business has never emailed me until I called asking for a receipt. I caked then continuously from August 2017 until they came to fox the problem this year. I called to tell [redacted] it wasn't working they stated they needed to have the same company come to my house.  Representative from A[redacted] went to start a new work order to find out they weren't witj [redacted] anymore. So [redacted] sent someone else out. They arw still trying to fix the messed up job done by infinity.  You didn't agree to let me only pay the price from 2017 to be a kind soul I had to have customer Relations at [redacted] get involved too Make sure you did it for that price.

On September 17 we were back at her home to get a detailed parts list and take measurements. When we went back over our list we realized we needed to contact the city because we had some questions regarding some code issues. There was an additional $485 for some code upgrades + $170 for a drain line re-pipe that we tried to bill [redacted]. When those items were declined by the warranty company the cost falls back to the homeowner. The homeowner then refused to pay for the additional cost. The $75 trade fee is part of the homeowners contract with [redacted]. [redacted]The homeowner would have been required to pay the $75 trade fee no matter who was out there. This air-conditioning unit was 30+ years old. It should not have been repaired.
