I am the one cooperating given that I am the one that is always trying to reach MrL*** to try and get him to come complete the contractual job. For weeks he has told me he hasn't found someone to come take a look at my furniture that he damaged as well as telling me he isn't going to put in an insurance claim since his deductible is $1300. He did say that he would pay for the painting repairs so I requested that in writing to be sure that we wouldn't have any issues. He agreed but has not yet provided me with his agreement in writing to the email address I provided and I do not want to be stuck paying for repairs. I would like for him to follow through with his word on paying for the painting repairs and putting that in writing so I can fix my home. I would also like him to get a furniture repair specialist out to repair my furniture, as stated in his contract; or give my $in cash for the couch itself. First the price that you was quote is the price you paid. the truck fee is different because you moved [redacted] miles the local charge is what you was charge for your local move. On scheduling when I had my secretary call you to get you scheduled you was unaware of your exact move date as for the message...

from me was because we was unaware to get you scheduled. Your quote included us moving you from Richmond Va to Washington,dc for $**/hr. with a 6hr min plus $[redacted] truck fee that is for your moving services only no packing or unpacking. This was a very affordable price and I will not be offering any discount or refund for this professional service that we provided you. Thanks

The customer contacted Revdex.com after waiting to receive the agreed settlement of $750. She has not been contacted by the business at this time or provided an update as to when this will be provided to her.

I am the one cooperating given that I am the one that is always trying to reach Mr. L[redacted] to try and get him to come complete the contractual job.  For 7 weeks he has told me he hasn't found someone to come take a look at my furniture that he damaged as well as telling me he isn't going to put in an insurance claim since his deductible is $1300.
I would also like him to get a furniture repair specialist out to repair my furniture, as stated in his contract; or give my $750 in cash for the couch itself.  These are all things he said he would do but continues to not hold up to his word or his own contracts.

Review: On 4/14/16 the company moved me from my old residence into my new home. During this move my leather couch was damaged in multiple places along with my staircase and hallway walls.

Since this time I have been trying to get the damaged to my property fixed with no resolution. Each time I call I get the same response of they are trying to find someone to come out and look at the couch.

Thomas L[redacted] has stated that he would pay for the repainting of the damage walls but given where we are I have requested this in writing to ensure he will indeed hold up to his end and have not received any statements in writing from him. I do not want to get the painting done until I have this in writing so I can be sure I am not stuck with another bill.

Thomas L[redacted] also informed me that he wasn't going to put a claim in for my leather couch since his deductible is $1300 so he offered me $500 for the couch and he would come take it. The couch is less than a year old and I paid over $1200 so I wasn't willing to take this offer. When I told him I didn't think it was a fair offer given the age of the couch he told me he was actually giving me $750 because he would waive the $250 insurance deductible that I would be reasonable for if an insurance claim was filed. I then asked him why would I have to pay an insurance deductible when you aren't putting in a claim. It was at this time that he told me that was his offer and he was done.

I paid over $1000 to this moving company and have held up all of my parts of the contract and I am just looking for them to be an honest company and uphold their end of their own contract.

I never get a response from Thomas L[redacted] when I call and the only time he calls me back is when I call from a different phone number and don't leave a message. I believe he only calls me back then because he thinks I might be a new customer.Desired Settlement: I would like for him to get my couch fixed (I will pay the $250 deductible) or give me $750 dollars, I pay no deductible since their is no insurance claim being filed.

I would like for him to pay for the repairs and painting needed to my staircase and hallway. The estimate I received from the painters is $300.
