First, Mr. P[redacted] offered nothing more than an apology and false accusations that I made comments about his nationality and swore at him.  This is absolutely not true and so disappointing that an owner of a business would accuse a customer of such things.  As far as the claim that I still had the keys when I came to speak with Mr. P[redacted] on Sunday, this is also false.  I think he is confused because the other couple we traveled with accidentally had their keys and she returned them when we both came to speak to Mr. P[redacted].  I believe that the gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was also confused because our friends checked out about 10 minutes before we did and accidentally kept their keys.  About 10 minutes later, my husband explained the uncleanly room situation, returned our keys, and got Mr. P[redacted]'s contact information so we could receive a refund.  My belief as to what happened is that the gentleman at the front desk thought that my husband was my friend's husband because he never even checked us out of our room!  Ultimately, Mr. P[redacted] should have asked front desk clerk what happened that night instead of assuming my husband and I are liars.  Mistakes happen, but the business should be willing to make up for those mistakes.  Mr. P[redacted] did outrageously offer me 10 free nights if I went into his cleaned rooms and found used soap next to the sink like we had in our room.  At that point, my friend was waiting in the car for me and I was alone.  What woman in the right mind would go searching through a hotel by herself with a man who is literally yelling at her?  While that was a generous offer, it does not solve the situation.  I do not want 10 free nights, I want a refund for the 2 nights we were charged and did not stay! Second, I would like to make it known that my friend who was with me when we initially met Mr. P[redacted] on Sunday is a witness to his unwillingness to listen.  While my husband was not there when my friend and I spoke with Mr. P[redacted], he did call him to make an attempt to resolve the situation.  He told Mr. P[redacted] that he was willing to pay a cancellation fee and Mr. P[redacted] proceeded to hang up on him.  Lastly, I would like to update my original proposed resolution.  When I first made the complaint, we had 2 charges on our debit card (totaling $211.94) and one pending charge on our credit card that we used when I originally made reservations (totaling $108.15).  In my first complaint, I asked for a refund in the amount of $320.09, but have since received a letter from my credit card company stating that the pending charge never posted to our account.  With this new information, the proposed refund amount is now $211.94.

reviewed appear below...Hotel staff did return a blue set of headphones to us, however they are not the same $299 headphones the hotel stated they located and would keep for us in December. These headphones are the same brand and color, but not ours. The model provided to us is a cheaper version valued at $99. Still unsure what happened to my headphones their staff confirmed were located and waiting at the front desk for us.Still interested in getting our headphones back or the value difference between our headphones and the cheaper replacement.

I'm concerned about the stay at Quality inn in Plainfield IN .you experienced at our hotel during your recent visit t. the problem at time too. They want refund after they in the room more than 1hr.also they said we did not stay when original date which is nov 13/2016. they still have my room key. I can't rent the room I f they did not come to check out.we don't know they check out after they check in because they have my room key.when they come to check out on nov 13 /16 they told all problem also she ask me the question about Is there is open soap bar in the room that room clean or not I told d them is dirty. Also I told her did not rent dirty room. so told her go now my housekeeping cleaning the room ask then which room u clean and if you find out any room they leave the open soap bar I will give you full refund and also l 0 night award to you. After that we told sorry but she keep talking. than she go to my nationality and used bad word. I told her I am us citizen. We accommodate many guests each evening, and we strive to make their stay a satisfying one. The principal goal of our hotel is to provide dependable service to all of our guests at reasonable prices. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Once again, there has been no solution offered and multiple lies stated.INCORRECT: I never once swore or brought up anyone's nationality.INCORRECT: There is proof that we left the hotel and submitted our keys on your security cameras that you REFUSED to look at telling me you "did not have authority" to review the footage.  I later found out you are the owner.  If you would have taken a moment to call your employee who never checked us out and asked him a few questions about what occurred that night instead of yelling at me to get out of your hotel, maybe you would have more proof.INCORRECT: My friend has NEVER received a refund for one night.  How do I know?  I just texted her and this is her direct response, "Absolutely not!  Her never ever did!!!!"As stated previously, this matter will be resolved when I am rightfully refunded $211.94.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I was credited back 15% with no contact from business.  Owner has never bothered to contact me in regards to this issue.  I have been in contact with choice hotels international in regards to this issue.  I have no other means to move the night we checked in in or we would have moved to a different hotel.  Front desk work refused to refund my money within one hour of being there. Was told by front desk clerk that I would have to stay the night and speak to manager/owner the next morning.  The next morning the manager/owner never bothered to come in to the hotel.  Left three messages all on returned. But owner/manager thinks that crediting 15% is good enough for "Cheap Americas".
