To whom it may concern; as you can tell from the home owners own letter they jumped into the middle of these projects and did work themselves This was not discussed with my company and forced us to make continual adjustments I was told by one of my subs they did this because they did not have the money to pay for everything It is my guess that this is why they are refusing to pay their final bill and the justification for that is to state the work is incomplete As far as the pricing issues, we have sent them several audits explaining each item with both add on's and credits We have on more than one occasion offered to walk them through this process both over the phone and in person but they refused As far as the basement bar the owners were not charged for items not included but there are many more items for consideration than an hours work on a pony wall The customer is being very misleading here During the process of setting the customers bathroom the shower door broke and we had to stop and immediately order a new one causing a delay We had the door shipped directly to the house Once the door arrived the home owner was to inform us that it had arrived and we would finish the bath immediately The home owner again to save money did not inform us but rather jumped in and finished the bath on their own As for the deck, the only structural components we replaced were four joists and there are no issues with the structural integrity of the four boards Please note we were not contracted to demo and rebuild the entire deck which would of course be the 10k-20k expense the owner is referring to, see attached pictures The railings were purchased by the home owner not All In One and are of the kit variety so to not assemble them properly if false I have tried several times to meet the owners to walk the projects to no avail Finally it should be noted they were very happy with each project throughout the process, it was only when we presented the final balance they had issues with any of the work which I offered to fix immediately and they told us to stay away, thus we have placed a lien on the property.Sincerey [redacted] Owner, All In One Home Improvement, llc

I have checked for old emails but don't have any saved The text I have confirming we cancelled the project are dated Augat 3:01pm At that time she was asking me if I wanted to have further discussions to try to resolve the issues I stated no thank you She asked if I wanted to settle up the balance she owed I told her that she had made too many accusations and lies and that our business relationship has endedShe asked if I wanted to come by and get remaining material etc I did not reply and have never been by her house again as I did not want to be accused of any harassment or theft etc It was approximately two days after that set of text messages that she called the office asking if we would reconsider continuing her project, we respectfully declined and never heard from her again

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:my goal by contacting the Revdex.com was to alert them that All in One Home Improvement is a scam, terrible company, poorly managed, dishonest, and not trustworthy. I didn't contact you to fight my battles that will be done in court trust me. I love how [redacted] continues to not take responsibility for his workers work (you have seen the pictures). I will continue telling people NOT to contact him for work and that will takes its toll in his pocket book. It funny how he says I'm broke I can tell you this you don't put your house, cars, and $$$ in a trust fund if your broke and we have all of that in one so broke we are not. Paying for work that is not correct is what this is all about but he is to STUPID to realize that. I hope the Revdex.com does the right thing and adjusts his A+ rating (I love how only person has review him by the way) to a more realistic rating and that's an F.... This matter is closed and I will see him in court.
Sincerely,

To whom it may concern; as you can tell from the home owners own letter they jumped into the middle of these projects and did work themselves.  This was not discussed with my company and forced us to make continual adjustments.  I was  told by one of my subs they did this because they...

did not have the money to pay for everything.  It is my guess that this is why they are refusing to pay their final bill and the justification for that is to state the work is incomplete.  As far as the pricing issues, we have sent them several audits explaining each item with both add on's and credits.  We have on more than one occasion offered to walk them through this process both over the phone and in person but they refused.  As far as the basement bar the owners were not charged for items not included but there are many more items for consideration than an hours work on a pony wall.  The customer is being very misleading here.  During the process of setting the customers bathroom the shower door broke and we had to stop and immediately order a new one causing a delay.  We had the door shipped directly to the house.  Once the door arrived the home owner was to inform us that it had arrived and we would finish the bath immediately.  The home owner again to save money did not inform us but rather jumped in and finished the bath on their own.  As for the deck, the only structural components we replaced were four joists and there are no issues with the structural integrity of the four boards.  Please note we were not contracted to demo and rebuild the entire deck which would of course be the 10k-20k expense the owner is referring to, see attached pictures.  The railings were purchased by the home owner not All In One and are of the kit variety so to not assemble them properly if false.  I have tried several times to meet the owners to walk the projects to no avail.  Finally it should be noted they were very happy with each project throughout the process, it was only when we presented the final balance they had issues with any of the work which I offered to fix immediately and they told us to stay away, thus we have placed a lien on the property.Sincerey [redacted]Owner, All In One Home Improvement, llc

To whom it may concern,  I will respond to each item as the home owner posted it.  The home owner first jumped into the project during the kitchen phase.  He purchased a hood vent that did not have a sleeve long enough to reach the ceiling.  We told him he would need to order an extension or use a different unit so we could install it.  Two days later he had installed a new unit on his own without our knowledge.  The home owner also tried to circumvent the electrician and wire the kitchen himself nearly starting his house on fire.  He then did use our electrician but complained about the expense.  The next instance was when he hired a tile guy on his own and started tiling the basement before we were even ready for that phase.  Please note my tile guy was ready to go when we needed him.  The third item was putting the cabinets in the bar, not installed however but I was told he was planning to do this again a new surprise.  Lastly was when the home owner jumped in and started installing bath items when we were not ready plus losing items that then had to be repurchased causing delays for us.  The owner states how long the project had taken.  Remember there were three separate projects.  The only project delayed by any significant time frame was the basement.  We lost approximately two days during framing.  The electricians were delayed due to their own schedule a week along with the drywall company.  After those delays we had two of Denver's largest snow storms of the year that again caused some delay.  Please note there was never a concrete time frame stated only approximates.  I have been doing this for over 25 years and I know better than to give concrete completion dates as two many variable exist in this industry.   It is true  I had a new guy to frame the basement,  I checked on him each day and when items were discovered that needed to be changed I had them fix right away.  Near the end of the project I did  bring in a second framer as the first individual left to pursue a career as a home inspector, he was not fired.  Because of the two day delay I offered to build the home owners a utility closet for free which they gladly accepted.    The last payment we received was placed under the door mat as the owner did not want to meet with me to go over details or discuss the projects.  Though I may have met with them a handful of times it was not because I was not there it was because they were not at the house during our working hours.  Not meeting owners face to face is very common as most have jobs outside the house but when I stop by and check the projects especially when the basement is a walk out I usually go around back and check without having to go through the house.  Even it the owner was home they may not have seen me.  As far as deck safety, again I only replaced four floor joist and they were done in accordance with the 2015 International residential code (IRC).  As I also stated, the handrail system is a kit system the owner purchased not my company and needed to be installed per the manufacturer recommendation.  We discovered near the end of the construction the owner did not order all of the necessary parts and we had to purchase those ourselves and pass that additional expense on to the owner.   If my guy looked up some information on his phone it would have been to verify details, perhaps figure out which parts he was missing or but as we know he could have been answering a text from me, so to state he was on youtube is speculation.   As far as communication goes, I have 96 text message to [redacted] and 3 to [redacted], and 22 emails, so I think I have done a very good job of communication through the three projects.I was told July 8 they were going to have their attorney call us but we have yet to hear from anyone.  As I mentioned my employee was told they did not have the money to finish the job but unfortunately no one told us. I have three emails stating I want to meet with them but they refused,  I do believe they simply do not have the money.Sincerely[redacted]

wanted to settle up the balance she owed.  I told her that she had made too many accusations and lies and that our business relationship has ended.
