This response is regarding ID# ***I believe that I have addressed all of Mrand Mrs***'s complaints in my first letterIf you look on the repair order that they have submitted it clearly states that the truck needed a new motor-that there were multiple issues going on internally with this engineThey refused the repair and instructed us to put it back togetherI understand their frustration, however we informed them of our findings at every step in the process and ultimately the decision making was in their handsWe were not dishonest and we do not take advantage of ANYONE based on age, gender, color, or socio-economic groupOur stellar reputation and length of time in business attests to that

January 30, 2016 ID # [redacted] Revdex.com, In response to the last letter we received from you dated January 27, 2016 along with the letter from All in the Wrist Auto Repair that was dated December 29, 2015. Mallie is saying that what we are saying is completely inaccurate. I am willing take a lie detector test proving my accuracy and truthfulness. We never even hear of this Mollie person until after we filed our complaint. [redacted] name was on the building of the business when we first went there and was still on there the last time we were there, along with the All In the Wrists name. The company did call us back with an estimate for the few things that were wrong with the truck. We did give our consent to fix what they found wrong with the vehicle as the first estimate wasn't that much. Then they called a few days later with some more work they said needed to be done. We asked what a new motor would cost. The price we were given at that time was $5800.00. We did not have that much money and told them so then they told us the cost would be $1800.00. So we gave our consent to do the necessary work because we needed both our vehicles for our jobs. A few days went by and I received another call from the company, they said that they found more repairs that needed to be done and of course it was going to cost more. The new price was going to be $2488.24, again we agreed to the repairs as we needed the vehicle for our jobs. We were feeling confident that our truck would be repaired. The last call we received was that the truck was repaired and that they were going to drive it around to make sure that it was running good before we picked it up. I asked how much we money we needed to bring to pick up the truck. 1 was told $2800 and some change. We went to pick up the truck that same afternoon. Upon arriving at the repair shop we were told that the total cost was $3337.85, which was not the amount of the estimate. We had no choice but to pay the amount given to us. This company led us to believe that they would fix the truck for the estimated price and they assured us every time they called that the repairs would last for quite awhile which we believed. I believe that this Mollie person has lied to you to cover her company for the horrendous job they did on our truck. It leaves no doubt in my mind that this company would lie to you as they lied and took advantage of us. I will attach more copies of my paper work to prove my case. The first estimate was $849.61, the second was approximately $1800.00, the third was $2488.24, the fourth was $2800 and some change and the actual amount paid to pick up the truck was $3337.85. I would like to state once again that we never spoke to this Mallie person. The person we always spoke to was named Darlene. I would also like to point out that a simple check of phone records would prove that the repair shop was always calling us and not us calling them concerning the repairs. We had to borrow money to make the necessary repairs on the truck and have to make payments for a vehicle that is not running due to bad repairs made by this company. This entire time my husband [redacted] has been using my truck for his job and I have been with no vehicle and have had to find rides from friends and family for my job. We believe that this company took advantage of our elderly state and our lack of knowledge of repairs that need or did not need to be done to our truck. It is sad that many companies such as this one are being allowed to con the elderly out of their money without doing the work that they promised. Sincerely, [redacted] and [redacted] P.S. They must have felt guilty because when we got our bank statement, the amount taken out was $2488.24 and not the 3337.80
