Customer was not happy and wanted refund immediately we explained the manufacturers policy which is below:

(2) Product exhibits evidence of field misapplications

Review: I purchased an L8148B Aquastat Relay product from All Island Plumbing on Monday Oct. [redacted]. I paid them $228.10. I had a contracted licensed plumber install the product, for he stated "The relay is no good." This plumber spent 4 hours at my place trying to figure out why this would not work. eventually he tested another relay and worked right away, but NOT compatible(meaning I need the compatible part).I then proceeded to call All Island and they stated "We cannot give you the money or exchange the item, but it will be sent to [redacted] to see what they say after inspection, which can take 2-3 months." Now the winter season is coming up and I have no money to purchase another part or pay a plumber for his work. When I purchased the item they never stated "We do not take back electric items" nor does it appear anywhere on my receipt. It only states on the receipt "exchange or 20% for refund."As a customer when can I get my money back even or exchange, I can not sit and wait through the winter cause they did not inform me, state on the receipt no exchange or refund for electric parts.Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund at store policy or exchange. I want what I purchased for not a malfunctioned item or money back at 20% lost for me. Not a delay in service cause it has to go sit in [redacted] dring the winter months.
