We have used Baker Brother Plumbing for the past yearsRecently, we had a small plumbing back up that only required minor snaking in the pipeHowever, the service tech clearly caused a much bigger, and more expensive issue that we discovered days laterThey are claiming this damage is our responsibility, though the risk for this to happen & the potential cost was never explained to us before or after the work was doneI attempted to put in a formal complaint, I have left messages for a supervisor to call me back and still have not received a call back in a weekFor a company that boast about customer service, I am very disappointed

I lost my earring down the bathroom drain When we removed the trap to retrieve the earring, the pipe was so corroded that it broke at the coupling Baker Brothers was called to fix it They couldn't come until the next day, which was Christmas Eve When the technician arrived, he spent about minutes and said it was fixed I was busy baking so didn't check his work A few hours later, when I used the sink, it leaked at other joins, not just at the broken one It looked like the technician was in a hurry to get home for the holidays so just loosened all the couplings so it looked like the broken one was reconnected We immediately called Baker Brothers (it is now about 4pm on Christmas Eve) They told us it was our problem After the holidays, we called another plumbing company who fixed the problem for 1/the cost of what Baker Brothers charged I will never use Baker Brothers again Please note, this is a rental property and Baker Brothers was recommended by the landlord We were paying as we broke it

We have lived in our home for years and our hot water heater bit the dust and burstBaker Brothers quoted me over the phone and was installed the same dayNo issues at allWe passed inspection as wellPrice was exactly what they quoted and no suggestions to increase it on siteI will use them for future projects

I CALLED OTHER PLUMBING BUSINESS BEFORE CALLING BAKER BROTHERS, AND WAS STILL WAITING FOR THOSE OTHERS TO RETURN BY CALL WHEN MR. DANIEL C[redacted] CAME OUT, ASSEST AND FIXED BY PLUMBING PROBLEM. HE ALSO SIGNED ME UP FOR THE \"BAKER BROTHERS PLUMBING AND AIR CONDITIONING FAMILY PLAN\" THAT FOR PENNIES A DAY, I CAN PROTECT MY HOME FROM COSTLY AND ANNOYING PLUMBING, HEATING AND COOLING PROBLEMS. ALL OF THE WITH ONE PHONE CALL AND GUESS WHAT, I\'M STILL WAITING ON A CALL FROM THE \"OTHERS\" \r\n\r\nTHANKS BAKER BROTHERS, I HAVE FOUND A HOME.\r\n\r\nIN-UNITY,\r\nJESSE

Sad my mom was charged $39.00 to Baker Brothers who told her so much work was needed to fix her clogged drain .
Got a second opinion & was told all was not needed. They repaired drain quickly & for significantly less than the quote from Bakers

I am currently a Friends and Family Member with Baker Brothers. I called Baker Brothers to come out and fix a problem with one of my air conditioner's drain line being clogged. The first technician came out as scheduled and thought he had fixed the problem; however, the drain line was still clogged and the overflow drained into my ceiling in the master bedroom. I called Baker Brothers again and they sent out another technician to fix the problem. The technician informed us that he had corrected the problem. Two days later, the water is coming back into my ceiling in the master bedroom. We called Baker Brothers again this time it was on a Sunday morning. They informed us that the technician was very busy and he would get in contact with us. The technician called an informed us it would be 6 or 7 hours before he could come to our house. He arrived about five hours later. He diagnosed the problem and said it would be a two man job. His diagnoses was the unit was not level and that was causing the problem. He also informed us that we would be a priority on Monday's schedule. I waited until Monday around eleven in the morning to contact Baker Brothers. I learned that I wasn't even on their schedule for Monday. I complained to the lady that answered the phone and she got me scheduled for later in the day. Two technicians arrived and they leveled my unit. One of the technicians told us that the unit needed freon and that was causing part of our problem. I had the technicians check the unit and it didn't need freon. Four days later the water was dripping back into my master bedroom ceiling. Baker Brothers dispatched another technician. It appears he fixed the problem. We were lucky he didn't create a bigger problem when he used compressed air to unclog the line. The PVC pipe exploded. Fortunately, no one was injured and the line burst in the attic not in a wall. I was impressed by this technician's attitude and commitment that he was going to solve my problem before he left my house.
I thought my issues were all solved so I decided to have Baker Brothers plumbing replace an outside faucet. The technician showed up on schedule and replaced the faucet; however, in the process of replacing the faucet, he overtightended the faucet and it cracked a brass coupling causing the water to flow into my kitchen, powder bathroom and garage. It took almost three hours for Baker Brothers to send out a technician to correct the problem. The technician corrected the problem. The technician also coordinated with their water restoration service to come out and start the clean up process.
Baker Brothers stands by their service; however, after all the problems we have experienced you would think that someone in management would give us a call and at the very least apologize for the inconvenience and damage caused to our schedules and the house. It appears that Baker Brothers management feels that as long as they eventually correct the problem the customers we'll be satisfied with their service.

FAILED INSPECTION: We had been on their "family plan" so a technician came out for free to look at our older hot water heater; said they could install a new Rheem hot water heater for $1552.18 including all parts and supplies. We agreed on the price and had them come out the next week. It took the two guys 4 hours to drain the old tank; were in a rush and poorly installed the rest of the hot water heater. When the City of Dallas inspector came out the following day, IT FAILED INSPECTION DUE TO GAS LINE!! They had to come back out again (3 times in total). I called to notify the manager (Johnny), who said he would call back the next day after it was fixed and not "red tagged". Johnny NEVER CALLED BACK, so I called and got the usual run around from the other crew in main office. Finally, the next week Johnny called to apologize and offered a 6.5% refund. WE CANCELLED OUR FAMILY PLAN! You pay inflated prices to bigger companies knowing that the job will be done right the first time and pass [redacted] inspection... WILL NOT USE AGAIN! Take your chances elsewhere...
