Review: On Feb *, 2014 I called All island Taxi of Hempstead from the airport asking for a rate quote. They were told there were 2 passengers and that one would be dropped off in [redacted] and the other in Hempstead. They quoted a price of $32.00. I again stated that it was for 2 passengers being dropped in 2 locations and they verified a price of $32. As the second passenger being dropped in Hempstead, I gave the driver $45.00 for fare and tip. I was told it was $66.00. I had the driver call dispatch to verify my quote and was again told it was now $66.00. When I got into the house I called dispatch again and was told their employee quoted incorrectly and that they are not responsible for their employees errors. If I had known that the fare would be double I would have had one of my children pick me up from [redacted] ; the distance is no more than 5 miles. I feel like I was cheated and they did not want to make any concessions for the error.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor the original quote of $32.00 and refund me the difference of $34.00.

All Island taxi repeatedly ignored me or asked my destination and declined to take me. My destination was from the [redacted] to the [redacted]. Meanwhile they would pick other fares up right in front of my eyes. Driven entirely by greed! I stood over

An hour and missed my train until I eventually called [redacted]. All Island Taxi drivers were rude and showed greedy unprofessional behavior.

Review: On 9/** at around 2AM, Jericho Terrace personnel requested a car service for me. 2 vans arrived, got to my destination and was charged 180.00 plus tip per van! After pondering this for weeks, I asked several people/friends and was told I was robbed. About 3 weeks ago, I called All Island company (pretending I was a new customer) and asked for a price from Jericho Terrace to my destination and they said 105.00 + 20% tip. And I asked how many people fit in the car and Jocelyn from All Island told me 14. No mention of any charges per head. After the rep gave me the price, I proceeded to tell her my problem and she agreed with me that I was definately overcharged. She even spoke to her manager (Joe) about my problem and he also agreed I was overcharged. She kept telling me he would call me back to find a resolution. He finally did call after 3 weeks and after me saying I will contact Corporate. He was somewhat helpful saying he would email Corporate but wouldn't know what the outcome would be. He asked if I plan on using them again and I told him that I would prefer my money back. About 3 days later (12/**), I get a voice message from the GM of All Island, Steve D[redacted], who says since its about 3 months old & that he can not do anything about this problem. He also mentioned a per head charge when as I mentioned before 2 personnel from AI NEVER mentioned a per head charge. They actually said it shouldn't have been more than 105+ tip. He also said all his logs are in a basement and he will not go thru all of that. And I proceeded to say I will contact the Revdex.com. And he said go ahead do that.

I must admit that I was a bit inebriated and for these drivers to take advantage of this situation (which seldom happens) is completely unprofessional.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is a refund of the overcharge (paid 180 per van at 2 vans 360.00 plus 40 tip totaling 400.00 for 2 vans) & the drivers should be spoken to about taking advantage of the particular situation. This is not conductive of a professional business. My trip was a total of 5 miles for 400.00!!! We didn't even fill the vans with 28 people (14 people per van). We did have about 5 small flower arrangements and 2 small boxes of belongings & my daughters sweet 16 dress. This is appalling!

Review: I used my cridet card to pay for my ride to and from the airport when I check the bill I notice a two dollar voucher fee. I was never told about the voucher fee from the driver or the office.Desired Settlement: they should tell you about vousher when you book your ride
