I am rejecting this response because:Two reasons
Firstly, when the saleman made his proposal, he said that he would supply a box for the TV.
Secondly, this TV weighed over poundsI feel that the movers were neglegant in that it would be unreasonable for one man to transport the device up stairs and out into the truckI feel that if two men moved this device, the damage would not have occurred.
I feel that if I were offered half of the cost were offered, I would have been satisfied, but an "olive branch" of 20% was unreasonable.
I did complain to *** and they placed $of the moving charge on hold waiting for the vender to respond to them about the complaint.
Apparently the vender chose not to respond to them and just sent the bill to a collection agencyI have since paid the collection agency to avoid further "action"

I attached the paperwork regarding Mr. [redacted] move.  Unfortunately, he did not elect to purchase additional coverage which limits his shipment to a maximum of .60? per poundper article.  The attached paperwork includes the following verbiage and signatures:Page 1 – Mr....

[redacted] selected (option 1) which declined coverage and only allows for a maximum reimbursement of .60? per pound per article.Page 3 – Fragile Items section Includes television sets in the verbiage.Page 5 – A section regarding Flat Panel Televisions. No insurance or container was purchased.Page 8 – This section also dedicated to insurance to further clarify the coverage to avoid any confusion.A 42” Flat screen television could weigh up to 50 pounds which would entitle Mr. [redacted] to a reimbursement of $30.00.  I realized he was upset and offered an olive branch so to speak with a reimbursement check of $100.  Since then Mr. [redacted] has disputed his credit card in the amount of $500 which was refunded to him. That is the reason westopped payment on the claim settlement check. Once we get reimbursed for the $500 which is owed to us we will settle the claim.  We are not required to settle a claim until all charges are satisfied.You can reach us at [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The owner of the company knows that my items were not "misplaced".  The contents of an entire section of my drawer were removed along with several items that were in separate boxes.  They were STOLEN and I would like them back or be compensated for them.

Review: Gave me an estimate to move into storage and from storage to new home. Estimate said total estimated cost. Sales person also verbally confirmed total cost. After furniture was moved into storage, I was told there was an additional charge to move out of storage into my new home. Documents can be submitted.Attached is an estimate of $4708.01 for moving. Note "total non binding estimated cost". I asked the salesman if that was the cost for moving from my previous address into storage and then onto my new address. He said yes. I hired them to move me on that estimate and word of the salesman. After they had my furniture and other belongings, I was told the estimate was only to move me into storage and was charged an additional $2909.58 to move from storage to my new home.I believe All Jersey Movers to be deceptive and dishonest.. I do not understand how th could have an A+ rating . Desired Settlement: All Jersey should honor estimate and word of salesman.

Review: The movers wrapped up my television for the move. It broke during transit. THEY did the packing. Yet they refuse to pay for the television. We tried to fight for the money. They gave us a 100 dollar credit. Then they stopped payment on that check.Desired Settlement: $500.00

Review: Three movers were in my home Sunday morning, May 24, 2015 and on Monday evening May 25, 2015 I noticed that many jewelry items were missing. I alerted the moving company and police immediately. I have not received any calls or information from the moving company. Specifically I would like a copy of their insurance policy so that I can make a claim for my stolen items.Desired Settlement: I want the culprit to be punished and for my items to be returned but that is for the police to handle. This company should be penalized for hiring and sending a thief or thieves to my home. A refund of the cost of the move would be a start but is not the ultimate goal.

Mrs [redacted] as you know I am aware of this matter and I am upset hearing that this could have happened. As you know from our discussion my hope is the best case scenerio and the items were merely misplaced and will be found. Its very upsetting hearing this which is why our company has a strict hiring policy and we run background checks on all our employees. With that said, we provided your local police department the background results of the three employees that were in your home which were clean of any negative infractions. I am still waiting to hear back from them and hope this matter will be settled as we both hope.

Review: I requested a quote from All Jersey Moving and Storage for packing and moving my household goods. This move included storing the majority of goods and moving some to the new apartment. I received a quote that I thought covered these requests.

When the moving team arrived, they were unaware of any packing that was necessary and unaware of any storage requirements. After talking with the company, I thought this was resolved. The team did a good job of packing a moving. However, they boxed up several items that I requested be brought to the apartment and sent them to storage.

In the end, I was charged double what I was originally quoted for the additional work. By the time I knew the true cost, I had no choice, I had to use them for this service. I was not offered any recompense for this.

Additionally, a request to retrieve the items from storage that I needed was met with additional charges of $75 an hour with an offer to maybe cut the charge in half. Along with an accusation of making up the fact that I requested these items to not go to storage. This was followed by a lecture on the phone from one of their supervisors about my decision-making during the move. This left me angered to the point that I hung up on him in the middle of his lecture.Desired Settlement: I would like the opportunity to retrieve what I need from storage without stonewalling and lectures. I would also appreciate some recognition from this company that they made serious communication errors that misled me.

We were not aware any packing was needed prior to moving day nor was there any packing charges noted on his estimate or contract. Once the men arrived and we got notice packing was needed we made arrangements to get boxes delivered to his residence and the men did as Mr [redacted] instructed. This service was approved by Mr. [redacted] and he was made aware that additional charges applied to perform this service and gave no indication on moving day that he was surprised or upset with the additional charges.After his move was completed and all his items were packed away in storage vaults in our warehouse we received a call that there were items in one of the boxes that he needed. Since than we accommodated his request and all his items were removed from storage to make all the boxes available so Mr. [redacted] could find the items he needed.
