This letter is in to complaint #***:As mentioned, we serviced Ms*** unit on two occasions. After the second service, *** called to make me aware that there was "paint" on here couch in a few spots. After our conversation, I went directly over, with my
technician, to inspect the couch. I informed *** that the couch did not have paint on it and marks looked like scratches. I asked *** to contact the furniture company (***) to come see of they could fix it. *** told me that she was not able to take off work to meet the *** representative. I told her that I would be happy to meet the furniture rep for her. She said that would be great because there are few other thing that need to be repaired by ***. The following week, I went and met with the furniture rep, (*** *** "Expert Furniture repair and restoration") After repairing her kitchen table, and addressing an unstable couch cushion, *** begin investigation the couch. On ***'s report, It clearly states that the couch scuffs were from "damage in transport" . The furniture rep, ***, said that this type of damage was uncommon for that type of furniture. He said he would fix the couch, but he was out of that particular dye, and that he would repair the couch when he dropped off the "faulty couch cushion" Again, *** told me that she would not be able to take off work to meet the representative, and I said call me when they schedule the drop of and repair, and I will meet him. Unforturnately, when *** scheduled the drop off and repair, I was out of town on vacation and could not be reached. So, the repdropped off the cushion in the leasing office of her complex and did not address the couch scuffs. When I got back from vacation I tried to help *** resolve her issue. However, in her opinion the only way to resolve the issue was to have my company replace the couch. It absolutely not about the money, it is all principal. I have gone above and beyond to help *** resolve this issue, and it clearly states in the representative's notes, read to me by Pam at ***, the damage was from transport and not paint.
