WE told Mr [redacted] the move which was booked last minute was done by the hour we had no idea the time it would take to do the move. AS per  Mr. [redacted]  Complaint we charged them $2300.00 we actually charged them only $2121.95 which included packing supplies and the actual packing of his kitchen which was not part of the scope of the move. Thank You for your help in this matter. Tell us why here...

the move longer, because of this we took the customer off the clock for over an hour for her inconvenience. During the course of the move we called to make sure that the customer was happy with the job we were doing and was told to call if there was any problems. But because of our stellar reputation we would like to offer the customer a 10% discount with the time off the clock. This would be over a two hundred and fifty dollar discount.

I am rejecting this response because: The elevator was reserved and was not used by anyone else during this process. The elevator would stay on the floor until prompted by the movers to go to the first floor and back up. They did not have to ever wait on an elevator. Moving into the building with the movers who set up all my furniture I paid $750 total. I think this is a poor excuse for a lack of experience and qualified work. I would be happy if they would refund $350. The move should have not taken over 6 hours max. There was not any boxes to move only two rooms of furniture.

First off I would like to apologize for any and all damages are movers may have caused. In order to go to the next step we will need the customer to call ###-###-####  which is the number for customer care. Who will take all the information to start the claims process.

Tell us I am sorry to  hear that we have not been able to resolve Mrs Kinsey claim request however we did process the claim in accordance with the standard valuation of .60 per pound per article as regulated by the state of Florida. At this time I would like to offer Mrs Kinsey the opportunity to get several estimates to repair items and see what we can do to go over and above the standard valuation that has already been offered. If we could be of any further assistance in this matter please do not hesitate to call anytime.why here...

The claims department...

has offered me $407 to cover the damages; however, my bedroom set was $3,000.  Due to the negligence of the movers, it is permanently damaged.  There are chucks of wood that are missing, also there is a crack in the middle of the bed.  There are 4 poles that weigh 100 pounds each that are completely ruined, beyond repair.  The media chest is damaged beyond repair, as well.  The amount of money offered by their claims department is a complete insult.  I paid almost $700 for the move, yet they only want to offer me $407 for my practically brand  new furniture that they damaged.
