Overall I feel that the situation was not handled well by the company at all

On or about 2/8/an estimator for this company came out to my home to give me an estimate on my moving services with this company and I was told they would send me an estimate due to the fact that I was packed up without needing furniture "wrapped" or broken down and there system was not set up to figure without needing that service so what we did agree upon was the fact that this was at least 3hrs or less and I was contacted by a repfrom this company who informed that the minimum would be 2hrs and I agreed to go forward with the move and left a deposit as requiredI then sought help from family members with moving all items that could be to lesson my move so when the day came for me to be moved and the one mover came inside he immediately got an attitude saying this is it? Recently on August 8th I moved into a new homeThe previous owners used All My Sons MovingThey left a hole in wall and when asked about it the movers act like they couldn't have possibly placed a hole in the wall coming down the stairs in a tight turnI told the previous owner and he spoke with themThey told him that they would deal with me directlyI called All My Sons and they told me that they could only deal with the person they provided service toTwo different stories are being told and I have yet to receive a call from the corporate office or the local Birmingham office about the hole placed in the wallThis is the worst response time and customer service/claims I have ever seen in my lifeThey should replace the hole that they placed in my wallThis is unacceptable service and very unprofessional by the actual movers

The moving company moved my furniture and appliances to my new home on April 1st causing damages that they said would be repaired and have not
Specifically a electric range was dropped shattering the glass doorDamage to bed frames and tile floor and drywallI was told that the customer service manager would contact me and send a appliance repairman out to fix the electric rangeI've since not been able to get in contact with anyone at the companyThey refuse to return my calls

We have moved several times because of my job and this one was the worst experience This time, this was a local move It was an easy move for the movers as well I had already taken most of our things, but I hired All My Sons to move a few dressers, an fridge, washer, dryer, and a couple of game tables We also had a large piece of furniture in storage But, they didn't have to move beds, clothes, dishes, etc The move should have taken about 2-hours
My move was scheduled to start at 8am At 7:45am, I received a call that due to DOT requirements, the driver could not arrive until 10-10:30am I get it I work with DOT every day But this was poor scheduling and the last-minute notice wasn't pleasing, but I was willing to let it slide But the driver did not arrive until 11:45am I had an important appointment at 2pm that day I told the driver we needed to get moving He replied saying his boss called him at 10am wanting to know if he could work Now, I finally know the truth
At first, the guys were moving well They loaded up the house in about minutes I was pleased Then we dropped by our storage unit and the driver was more interested in looking at our pictures or checking out our motorized toys At this point, I knew he was dragging his feet and running up the clock They finished the move in about 4.5-hours We were moving to a new home that we built They scratched the staircase in two places pretty severely
I spoke to the supervisor and told him about my complaints He asked me what I was looking for I told him I would leave the resolution up to him, but I knew if I ran my business with this type of communication and lack of urgency, I would lose my customers He responded, "Well, you were moved today and the guys have to get paid." So, I paid, but I promised myself I would leave reviews everywhere I could I was completely disappointed

I had such a bad experience with All My Sons, that I didn't even get moved! I had used them twice before and didn't have a problem. The day before my move this last time, they called me to confirm and said they would be there in the afternoon. When I scheduled, over a month before, I specifically asked for a morning appointment. When I talked to Chris, he told me that lady is in Texas and if I had used them before, I should've known the time I was given wasn't correct. He told me she is new, so he couldn't do anything about it. He had a snarky attitude and laughed and I told him I didn't think it was funny. I had family coming to help move me and now I have to pay for HIS mistake. He kept putting it back on me! What kind of business blames the client? Then he told me they are busy so there is nothing they can do to help me move on time. This was the worst experience and I was put in a panic less than 24 hours from my move. I will NEVER book them again. I called Two Men and a Truck and got an appointment right away, and I didn't have to put down a deposit.

Not only did our movers start complaining right off the bat, they had a terrible attitude the whole time. It was clear that they were unprepared and should have had more men helping. They acted like we did not tell them that our apartment had stairs. They assumed that we had an elevator. Eight hours later, they were finally done. The next day, I noticed that two of my very expensive controlled substance prescriptions were missing from my bedside table. Granted I should have known better than to leave them in the drawer, but I shouldn't have to be worried about something like that. The bottles remained, but all of the pills inside were gone. I called three days in a row after I noticed. I was told every time that they would talk to a district manager and then get back to me. I never received a call back. When I called the last time, the man asked me why I took the prescriptions and what exactly they were for. I told him that that is personal information, but again both prescriptions were controlled substances, so therefore they are expensive and it's illegal to be in possession of them without a prescription from a doctor. He then told me he would call the movers and see what they had to say. I politely said to him, "do you really think they are going to admit that they did this??" He seemed to be clueless. Again, I was promised a call back, but I never received one. These prescriptions cost me hundreds of dollars that I will not get back, nor will I get the pills back.

I wish I had thought to research this company BEFORE I used them! Have never worked with a more un-professional crew. The 2 men seemed to work very slowly and would stop periodically to smoke or use the cell phone. When I originally spoke with someone (a man) to discuss the move, I specifically asked if his crew had experience in taking down and putting up a Sleep Number bed. He said, "Oh, sure. They do it all the time". Well, neither of the 2 young guys they sent had ever moved one. They did seem to have it put back together (as evidenced by it inflating properly), but they had left the remote control to the movable frame back at the old place. Later that night when I obtained the remote and got back to the new place, the remote does not operate the frame. The remote lights up, but the bed does not move. Now, I will have to pay to get someone from the Sleep Number bed place to come out here. They had trouble moving 3 of my larger pieces, and were not actually able to get two of the pieces moved into the rooms at the new place. One of the pieces, a tall oak entertainment center, they said they could not stand it up (this was going in a basement apt with low ceiling), but they still had it on the dolly. However, I suggested they take it OFF the dolly and try to move it a different way, and it stood right up with 3 or so inches to spare! How "professional" was that? I had to tell them how to do their job. These 2 men laughed and cut up the ENTIRE day. They arrived at my house at 0930 and didn't finish until 5:00pm. I feel like they were purposely slow. Maybe that is the drawback to using an "employee owned" business.

This company was hired for us by family and it was our families first an LAST time to use this company. Movers were late, seemed frustrated that they had to move out stuff especially up stairs. Left furniture and belongings even those boxes up at our home we were leaving. Just all around crappy job. When unpacking movers deliberately put boxes in wrong places, I'm guessing because they didn't want to carry them upstairs. When it came time for billing charges were of course higher than discussed and included some crap fee for ' re folding their quilts'! They brought their quilts. Their moving description on their website states they do all of these things and take care of the customer. I call BS! After reading other reviews I see this is standard operating procedure for this company. Lesson learned, we will do our due diligence before hiring a service. But guaranteed it will not be this company ever again.

I suppose there are bad reviews on any job site. Well, I do not have a bad review. The three men sent to move me received five stars. They got to my home a tad early and never stopped or broke stride. I am a 61-year-old single lady....to be honest....I dreaded this move. Well, I could see right off that my fears were unwarranted. Thank you to the three men that treated me with respect (as well as my things), worked like ants, and saved me money ......as they worked hard and quickly.

I have referred them to two other families that are using them. I can only hope they get the excellence I received.

One more thing.....Chris (from the office) called after about two hours to check and see how things were going. He also called at the end of the day.
