All My Sons Moving & Storage of Nashville, Inc. Reviews (9)

The crew showed up at the time stated by a pre-call from the lead crewAll the crew were very courteous, respectful to us and our property, well mannered, positive, and had a sense of urgency to complete the move safely and efficiently, especially the lead crewThe sales staff were flexible, excellent, and made every effort to meet our requirements, especially the agent who booked our moves (2)Customer service is their mottoHighly recommendEven their president called to thanks us for our businessThank you very much for a great move

Highly unhappy, disappointed and pissed off with All My Sons Moving! I was originally quoted over the phone & via email $139/hr (due to it being on a Friday move and not a Saturday), plus truck fees, mileage, etc(all OK) But, it ended up charging me $$10, no big dealThen, when the 'clean and helpful' crew arrived to start, they definitely didn't feel the need to rush to move at a quicker paceLazy, if you ask me, they understand that the longer they fking lolligag, the more they get paidHence why I even helped bring down stuff to load the truck to help speed it up - even though you specifically told us that all we'd have to do is 'point'Y'all are a joke
Then, they get the truck loaded (finally) and drive to new residence, only to HOLD OUR PROPERTY hostage due to THEM misquoting us and waiting on more $$ from the credit card to be auth'd - what a bunch of fking crooks you guys areYou are a terrible moving company and I will recommend EVERYONE I know to stay away from you people - or do it themselvesA homeless person hired from the side of the road could and would have done a better job
My next stop with this complaint is the Revdex.com, facebook and a mass text to my contact list/email
In the end, what should have and in writing cost us about $ended up being closer to $1,200! Oh, and they damaged our entertainment center, broke a crockpot and scratched our new hardwood floors - What is the process for filing a claim for damaged good DURING the move?
A lost and unhappy former customer,

Failure to comply with agreed upon terms of moving contract
On June 16, I contracted with All My Sons to move me on June I told them at the time that I was flexible as to the date, but once they gave me a date, I would need it to be honored because I was contracting for other services based on the moving dateI was given June 29, with movers arriving between 8-a.mOn 6/26, they called to confirm and said the driver would call me as soon as the truck was on its way and would be at my home between 8-When no one had called by 9:30, I called the companyI was told that they were waiting on the driver to arrive; he was on his way(This turned out to be a lie.....they were never able to get in touch with the driver assigned to this job!) At 11:a.m., I called againI was told the drive never arrived and they were trying to find another driverAt 1:00, I was told that a driver was available, but they were now looking for a crew, as at the previous crew got tired of waiting

The day before our move on 1/02/17, I was "Upsold" from a 2 man crew at $99/hour to a 3 man crew at $139/hour to get the job done faster which was a rip off since there was more standing around staring than anything. They showed up almost 4 hours earlier than scheduled timeframe with an "on the way" call 30 minutes out. Despite our chaos at the house with all of our stuff (lots being hauled off by us), the job should not have taken 8 hours! It should have been NO more than 5 hours at worst case with a 3 man crew had all 3 been working quickly to get things loaded. They were seemingly, purposely moving slow with the exception of the older man ([redacted]) who worked at a great pace working circles around the 2 young guys who seemed to be in slow motion all day! Way too many smoke breaks. Several items not moved that were specifically instructed to be loaded (baby bed that was already taken apart sitting in the doorway of closet, large, wood storage cabinet/pantry, lamps, etc.) Legs needed to put living room furniture together left at old house on top of storage cabinet that was not loaded as it should have been that we had to make an extra 2 hour round trip for to get from old house an hour away. They left some of their boxes and a trash can at our old house and despite calling to tell them to go back to get it or stop at the exit they were approaching so my husband could meet them since they were only 7 miles from our house, they would not do either and he had to make a 2 hour round trip to bring to them when he needed to stay at the old house. Only the older gentleman seemed to take care loading/unloading our possessions. We discovered yesterday that the corner of our entertainment center is busted which was NOT damaged prior. Although I signed the "tablet" invoice just because I was exhausted & overwhelmed and just wanted it to be done with, in addition to it taking them 8 hours unnecessarily, I was a bit upset to be charged for "supplies" that I was NOT informed about prior. And about the cabinet that was not moved, when they asked if it was to be loaded I CLEARLY said YES as I was not leaving anything else for the new homeowners and did ask if any of the crew wanted it and was told no to which I clearly replied THEN IT NEEDS TO BE LOADED! Yet when they were close to being done with the unloading at the new house and I saw it was not there & asked my husband about it and he asked them where it was they told him I said to leave it to which I replied NO I DID NOT! I think they should reimburse us a MINIMUM of 2 hours, possibly 3 since we were charged an 8% fuel surcharge when their mistakes created two separate 2 hour round trips for us! I even emailed them directly on Tuesday night (1/03/17) to express my displeasure and would think that if a company received notification that a customer was unhappy, they would at least take the time to make a phone call to discuss an agreeable/acceptable resolution, but it has been 2 days and they have yet reached out. This is unacceptable. (On a side note, I was told my the "sales person" when scheduling that each employee was a stockholder in the company, and when my husband mentioned that, the crew just laughed and said, "Yeah, they will tell you anything!")

I was very pleased with my experience with All My Sons Moving. The movers were on time, very professional, very respectful, and represented the company well. They made the move very smooth and easy and in a timely manner. I would definitely use All My Sons Moving again.

I scheduled an appointment for All My Sons Movers at 1:00 on July 14, 2014. I was told that the driver would call my residence 30 minutes prior to arrival. I received no call so I called them at 1:00. I was told a truck would be to my home shortly. By 3:00 no truck had arrived so I called again and spoke with a person named [redacted] who claimed to be an owner. He told me that the truck was coming from Memphis and would be there by 4:00. At 4:15 still no truck or phone call. I called back and spoke with [redacted] again and was told a truck would be at my residence shortly. [redacted] was completely unprofessional, essentially called me a liar and had no remorse in regards to the situation his company created. At 4:45 there was still no truck. I called, cancelled my move and had to hire another company to complete the job. The incompetence and unprofessionalism shown by All My Sons Movers is the worst I have ever experienced.

All My Sons contracted to move our household belongings on the morning of July 1, 2014. The crew did not show up until 8:00 PM, and subsequently could not complete the move in the amount of time they allotted themselves. Consequently, they charged me for 2 trucks and 2 crews who were still unable to complete the move as the drivers were required to be off the clock at midnight. They drove away with 2/3rds of our belongings and left the other 1/3 rd. in the home. All My Sons assured me that the crews would be back the 1st thing in the morning on the 2nd. of July, but they didn't show on time then either, as a matter of fact they didn't show until 12:00noon. By that time the people that purchased my home were there with their movers. This was a move from he**!!! Then All My Sons demanded that I pay even more money before they even finished moving our things into the new house, or they would drive off without finishing the job. I guess you could call it "holding my belongings for ransom". I strongly recommend that NO ONE, No matter how desperate you are DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING!!!

Recently moved a two bedroom apartment from a storage unit into an apartment. The movers were going to make two stops as my things were in two locations. They took caution with my belongings and qorked diligently to not run up my bill. The only problem I had was scheduling which ended up actually in my best interest. Yes I would use them again

Allmysons was very friendly and helpful during my move.. The same worker Bean came again and that made it pleasant and nice. The price was affordable and the workers were extremely supportive during my transition..
