Advertising to come and open a car when keys get locked inside completely misrepresented. Claim that they charge $15.00 on internet, website says they charge "chicken feed". Charged and 18year old $192.00 to open a car door in my driveway. When we called the business, they put us on hold and never came back. Will be disputing the charge with American Express. Will not pay this bill. This company should not be allowed to conduct business.

Review: I contacted the company to open a small safe that we had at our house. I spoke to a person named Ivan who put me in touch with a contractor named [redacted]. I spoke to him from my office in NYC to have him come over to look at the safe to give me an estimate of cost to open the safe. I was told by Ivan that there would be a $15 charge as well as a $45 minimum to perform the work on the safe. When I talked to [redacted], he requested I provide a picture of the safe to get an idea of an estimate. When I told him that it was a [redacted] Table safe, he told me that he was familiar with it and did not require a pic. He told me that it would likely cost around $100 to do the job but would give me a better estimate once he saw the safe. I called my wife, who was at the house, informing her of his pending arrival (around 30 min). 45 min later, I called my wife [redacted] to see if he had made it or not. She texted me that he had drilled and crowbarred the door (about 3 min to complete) and that he informed her that the charge would be $208. dollars. I asked to speak to him and while on the phone with me, he was rude and unprofessional. My wife later told me that he was somewhat menacing to her once I disputed the charge since I had NEVER been told of the money involved. I would have NEVER authorized $208 to perform a 3 minute job drilling the lock and prying open the door. I had no choice but to pay the bill, afterwards I got back on the phone to complain to a supervisor. I got Ivan again on the phone and he informed me that his supervisor was on "break" and that he had no idea of his return. I feel as if I was mugged and intimidated by this contractor and I charge this company with deceptive practices. I would pay a fair price to perform the work but I would NOT EVER pay $208 to have a bait and switch act pulled on me. My primary complaint is that I NEVER had the chance to authorize the work in the first place and Tat is why I am filing this complaint with the Revdex.com- I have never done this beforeDesired Settlement: At this point, in addition to never having the chance to say yes or no to this job, I was spoken to in an extremely disrespectful manner (by [redacted]- Ivan was professional), so I am requesting that I be refunded in full for this 3 minute job to open a [redacted] safe. I suffer from [redacted] and have troubles that prevent me from drilling the safe myself. I was deceived into thinking that I would be called before the work was done. Once he did the work, I was helpless to do anything.
