Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/10/05) */
On or around July 15, 2015 [redacted] terminated our agreement. All Phase Maintenance was contracted to remove shelves, mountings and 3 ceiling fans. This was to assist with their relocating from [redacted] and [redacted] in Fresno, California to...

[redacted] suite [redacted] We were also contracted to remove existing carpeting and linoleum. We finished work required and were paid for this service in full. At that time we were already behind schedule because the business next to the new location hosed their sidewalk, and the water seeped in on the floors we just refurbished. The floor was now stained in areas and we had to re-work them. Then one evening someone entered the business and walked all over the floors we left to dry. We again had to re-work those areas. Though we were paid for the above work, payment was not received until three weeks after this job was complete. Payment was to include materials that All Phase purchased at our expense. Our time table was extended further due to this fact. We were notified that work had to be completed by Monday, August 3, 2015.
I informed [redacted] Manager that the work that they wanted was nearly impossible to complete by their deadline. We worked that weekend until three or four AM. We also laid tile in one restroom and a specialty sink. When we attempted to install 3 ceiling fans, I notified manager [redacted] that the new fans needed to be mounted from I-Beams on the ceiling. Using all-thread I mounted 3 new fans. I did go above and beyond to install those fans in a timely manner. Thais was done to the point of my being rushed and almost falling from the fifteen-plus- foot ceiling. I was hanging onto the wires to keep from falling to the cement floor.
As we tried to meet their deadline, [redacted] kept adding more work. She added the baseboards and changed colors of paint among other minor setbacks. She then added wiring to the cash station that she wanted installed. We had to make several trips to purchase additional materials reaching an excess of seven hundred dollars. We were promised material payment so that we could continue our work but were never paid. Businesses are unable to operate with zero funds.
[redacted] notified All Phase, after another trip for materials, that she was not pleased with our performance. We tried to apologize and told her about how her deadline was not attainable. She then started criticizing our work. She stated shelves were not mounted properly and she needed to call someone else to complete the job.
All fans were mounted. Two were working and one just needed to be connected. She also pointed this out. I had already explained this to the manager, [redacted] When it was obvious to us an agreement could not be met, we cut our initial bid of eight hundred dollars to four hundred for relocating her store. She was content with this and even signed billing to that effect. After one month of not receiving payment and after numerous attempts to contact her company, I was forced to send this account to collections.
Only after this was when she contacted the Revdex.com with her complaint.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/10/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
These facts are incorrect. About August 15th the arrangement was terminated with "All Phase Maintenance"
All Phase did push back the move in date which we accommodated, after they could not meet the move in, that was only one occasion.
Materials were purchased as they asked. Which have all been paid.
However these are not the reasons for my grievance, which were not addressed above.
#1 Doing work with out a contractors license.
#2 Paying another company to come out and redo All Phase Maintenance electrical work, (the 3rd ceiling fan did not just need to be reconnected but rewired, where a pole they installed fell and could have hurt a customer.
#3 The shelving they installed was not secure and coming down.
#4 The finished floor is not sealed, after we spent day one setting up the new store the floor started peeling and had bubbles. Which now I have to find and pay someone else to redo. They had offered to fix the bubbles, however I did not have faith that they could, after the bad work thus far.
I did not pay the final $1400.00 as that was my bill from Able Electric to repair the work and I still have to get the floor fixed and resealed.
