Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution...

is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted] The company has refunded 50% of the increased charge that I incurred.  I accepted that and I now know that dealing with a broker is not the way to go.  All points was just a moving company that the broker assigned to the move and we discovered my estimate from the broker was off.  Now all I can say is  i dont recommend [redacted] (they r the broker who caused this problem.  Tom at Alll Points was very sympathetic and I appreciate his effort to make the best possible solution for both of us

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  All Points charged us two times to"walk further."  That is a hidden fee- those fees alone were $400 and we didn't even report that our cart was missing during the move.  The "senior" staff representative guaranteed delivery on the 26th and did not share that the items would be moved from our home to a warehouse up north just to return back down south.  He specifically said the drivers would drive on Saturday, 12/23 and Sunday, 12/24.  Tom and Chris were both unprofessional.
Regards,
[redacted]

We value our client’s opinion and do the best we can in servicing every need. After delivery, this client had 1 damaged Item. According to our contractual agreement that was referred to; it clearly states that the customer agreed to the standard cargo protection. This only covers .60 cents per pound...

for each damaged item involved in the move. We currently use CSI to resolve and mediate all liability cases. After reviewing this case, CSI informed us that due to the item weight being claimed, they will only cover $48 dollars. After having a successful move, we tried to help or client out by offering $175 dollars due to the monetary value of the item. Client refused this offer. We then contacted the client directly in order to gather more of an understanding. We agreed upon $250 dollars being the monetary amount we will provide to the client. We have sent over a release form and is awaiting signature for payment.

We are sorry if you personally feel that our fee structure is hidden. Total move cost and fees are all spelled out in the contract of service which is always signed before proceeding with the reservation and on move day before any goods are loaded. In your particular case it was spelled out that you will be charged if we had to walk more than 75 feet with your goods from the loading area to the moving vehicle. We never received any complaint, insurance claim or any recognition of a cart until now. We also have a signed statement from you that all pieces were received on delivery. As mentioned in a previous statement we work off of a delivery time spread which again was signed off on before any work was done. The original contract states:   Delivery Schedule – 0-500 miles: 1-6 Business Days, 501-1000 miles: 1-7 Business Days, 1001-1500 miles 2-14 Business Days, 1501-2000 miles: 3-21 Business Days, 2001+ 3-21 Business Days. These estimated delivery times of arrival shall go into effect from the first day that you notify to us in writing that you are ready to accept the shipment.  We do not guarantee a date or time for drop-off being that there are a lot of factors involved with moving. Also, as mentioned before we are a carrier that thrives to do the best for our clients. Though some moves can go direct on the same truck others will benefit from a shared load.  This load in particular was delivered well under the above mentioned time spread. We strive to maintain a certain level of professionalism and transparency here at All Points Moving and are sorry if you feel that we fell short or your expectations.

This is in response to [redacted] and [redacted] B [redacted]; file number [redacted] initially contacted us to provide her with an estimate for her relocation from Washington, DC 20001 to Coral Gables, FL 33156. She spoke with one our senior representatives by the name of Christopher C[redacted]...

on November 17, 2017. Mr. [redacted] provided her with a clear and accurate estimate for our services which included 599 cubic feet, 15 items, and 45 pieces all at a total price of $2063.15. [redacted] and [redacted] then decided to proceed with scheduling a reservation with our company based on the pricing and service given at that time. When the reservation was booked, they were required to e-sign the estimate with their signatures acknowledging that the deposit was processed and everyone was in agreement to the terms and conditions of our services. In the contract that was signed, it clearly states that the total cost will not exceed the estimated cost Detailed in the list of pieces of this agreement, providing that Customer provides All Points Moving and Storage with an accurate description of the items that are to be moved and the services that need to be performed. If there is an increase of items, packing services, weight/volume or labor services added at the origin or destination to those quoted in this agreement, the Customer may be charged for those services. Contract also clearly states that All Points Moving and Storage works off of a delivery schedule for this move which happens to be 1062 miles from door to door; an average from pickup to delivery of 1-7 Business Days. There were no guarantees made at this time with regards to any exact date or time as we cannot foresee this over a month in advance. Now on move day 12/23/2017. We arrive to the residence and discover that there were much more Items in the household then what was told to us or agreed upon. Client was also told prior to the crew arriving that everything that was packed by client must be secured in plastic bins or paper boxes. That was not done. The crew now had multiple boxes that needed to be packed, more items than expected and could not bring the vehicle within 100 feet from where we were loading. These were all things that were explained to clients before the crew showed. Due to the fact that the client had extra space on the truck for more items, more packing materials needed to properly complete the move and the crew had to move furniture over 100 feet there was an adjustment in the price. The new price was discussed, agreed upon and signed before loading.  The total amount of items loaded was 124.  The Total price for the actual move ended up being $3854. Keep in mind this client wanted things ASAP on a holiday weekend. All points moving did everything in its power needed to get the furniture to Florida within 48 Hours. This had nothing to do with the amount of the tip given to the crew at the door but the service we give our clients.  There were no hidden fees on this file and after reviewing all aspects of the move in question, All Points Moving and Storage will not be sending any monetary amount to client.

Since receiving this complaint, we (all points moving) have been in contact with this consumer via email and phone. As it stands right now we have come to an understanding. There was at first a disagreement between the broker and the carrier as to what was actually coming on the move. Once that was...

rectified the move progressed. There were 2 bedrooms of furniture in-which one of the bedrooms my gentleman were instructed by the owner not to go into. Unfortunately one of the items on the original list was left because of this. We took  $50 from off of the customers final bill because it was not until we left that this was brought to our attention.  Once on the road we encountered some bad winter weather in which delayed our delivery. We were in contact with this client from point A to delivery and client was understanding until we get to the destination.  At destination we delivered everything that was on our truck into the clients household. At this time the consumer started looking over delivered goods and made a mention about a tv, grill, kids bike and table fan. We instructed client to take pictures and to start an insurance claim with our insurance company. Customer agreed. Since then the client has returned paperwork to the insurance company and we are awaiting an amount from the mitigation the we will have to pay the client. Also in the meantime we arranged to have the kids bike fixed at a local bike shop in her neighborhood but consumer never brought the bike to the shop. We are sorry for any inconveniences.
