Looking for refund of my 10% deposit for work that was never done

As per the contract there is no cancellation policy fee/ charge listed that should be applied at any step of the process
I understand that time has pasted, but that time was used to save the project I signed the contract in February with the understanding that your company could complete the foot door and foot beam replacement listed in the contract
This contact should have been canceled when your company could not achieve the scope of work and came back to inform me of the additional charges and work that would have been needed to complete the signed contactWhich I declined at that time
