Doug was recommended by an Architect friend of mine from the East Coast. My husband and I had run into issues with a remodel job on our house. I had the suspicion that things had not been done right but did not know enough about building codes and/or construction to confirm my suspicion. My friend gave me Doug’s number to ask him some questions concerning our project since building codes can differ in each state.

I contacted Doug the day before our project was supposed to be finished. Doug did not mind talking to me at a very late hour that day to walk me through everything! Right off the bat Doug was very personable, likable, and more than willing to share his knowledge with me. He ended up confirming that all of my suspicions were right and that the remodel job on our house had gone terribly wrong to the point where it had to be completely redone due to the fact that building codes had been violated. Not only did he verbally walk me through everything that had been done wrong, he also e-mailed me pictures and technical drawings of how things were supposed to look.

Thanks to Doug, we had enough technical knowledge to fire our contractor and we were able to stop those people from causing even more harm to our property by trying to cover up their wrong-doings the next day. Turns out, our contractor was neither licensed nor qualified to do our project.

Even though we did not employ Doug’s services and just had questions about a project that he had no involvement in, he helped us out tremendously. We will be forever thankful that he took so much time out of his busy day to share his technical knowledge with us. Considering that we were not even his clients, that was a very selfless thing for him to do. Looking at all the wonderful reviews about him, I have no doubt that he provides all of his clients with the best service possible and goes above and beyond for them. He sure has done it for us!

I engaged All-Pro Home Services to design and create a set of detailed plans for a “stick-built” vacation home in Coconino County Arizona. I’m doing an owner-builder project to both save money and guarantee that what gets built is what I want. There were three primary reasons that I chose All-Pro: flat pricing, I liked the samples that Doug A[redacted] showed me of his work, and I liked the systematic approach he described to getting the job done. The iterative design process was fun, given his 3-D renderings. When the plans were submitted to the county, nothing got redlined; only a few comments required some minor modifications and I had my permit approved. I feel these plans are so detailed that it will be easy working with subcontractors and material suppliers. I highly recommend Doug. Be aware that his fee does not include the services of a Structural Engineer or Surveyor. Nonetheless I saved nearly 50% off my highest quote even with those costs included.
