There is two sides to every story. Things happened during the construction of the sunroom which were out of my control. I always provided great customer service and was right there to make things right. We installed the only unit that would fit in to the existing opening. the
larger unit, which was shipped by mistake by the manufacturer, would not fit in the opening. When this issue and service request was received by our company, we responded immediately. We tried to work with the customer and help him through this. Each time the customer responded, the company was insulted, and I was insulted personally.We are a great company and we are always there to take care of all of our customers. I don't expect to get our only bad review because of a faulty HVAC unit. Since I made the mistake and told the customer the warranty was good for five years, we will issue a $refund for the unit. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with the following condition: We are requesting assurance from BetterLiving that they will stand behind the warranty on the windows and sliding glass doors and screen replacement they promised. We were very impressed with the windows installed and the fact that they promised lifetime replacement on screens. We will get estimates from 3 companies to replace the malfunctioning unit. Due to the high demand on HVAC companies, the bad weather and the holidays, we were not able to get estimates. The first company will come on Thursday, Jan 11. We will work with BetterLiving on getting the lowest and best replacement. For the Record: [redacted] is correct - there are two sides to every story. We did not disrespect [redacted] as he stated. Because of the situation with the holidays and the fact that we had our Christmas tree in our "all season", and we were expecting out of town family, we were frustrated with [redacted]'s response. Once he found out that there was no warranty beyond one year on the unit he installed and that repairing the unit was not even recommended by the HVAC company, he said this was not his problem. He did not want to work with us in getting it repaired or replaced. We have a trail of emails to [redacted], the manufacturer and the company where it was purchased. We are willing to share these mails if necessary for the Revdex.com records. Please advise.As stated, we are willing to accept BetterLiving's assurance they will reimburse us up to $850 for a new unit. And, their assurance they will stand behind the sunroom they installed.

We have had a sunroom installed as well as solar shades and also new skirting around our home by Betterliving Delmarva and my husband and I cannot speak highly enough of this company and the professionalism that the salesperson, Patrick C[redacted] and the job forman Matt has given to us. Everything that we asked for was completed in a timely manner and the products and installation were excellent! We HIGHLY recommend this company for any repairs or additions anyone would need for their home.

We recently contracted with Betterliving of Delmarva to do a three season room for us. Although not inexpensive the quality of the work is excellent and the now completed room is a real joy. The windows are great and when the sun shines on them , during the day, it can be 40 degrees out but the room is still cozy. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend Betterliving of Delmarva for this type of project.

We were totally satisfied with their customer service, responsiveness, quality of work on our new three season room. We had already met with a competitor and had a good quote but they didn't seem enthusiastic or really committed. We called and left a message for Betterliving on a Saturday when the showroom wasn't open and within half hour Patrick returned our call and asked if we wanted to come over then. Totally impressed with that! He set an appt to our come to the house that week, was on time, understood what we wanted, locked in a quote and the work started the following week. The quality of the work, the attitude of the team, their willingness to make some minor "tweaks" was something we had not experienced with contractors before. We are thrilled with the room, the craftsmanship and the service we received. We highly recommend them! Although this is a three season room, we added a floor heater so we can enjoy it for more than just the warmer months! We now spend more time out here than when it was a screened porch and thank Patrick and team for improving our quality of life!
