My husband, ***, and I purchased a furnace from All Pro Plumbing and Heating, with the understanding that $500 would be returned to us from ***. All pro plumbing and heating did not file the paperwork in time, and agreed it was their fault, and so promised us the $500. This process began on Feb 27th 2019, and we have still not been paid. Here is the timeline of events that have occurred:

February 27th, 2019: Furnace Installed

Feb. 28th 2019: Paperwork for furnace rebate completed

Photos were "too blurry" and so shortly after (within the week) *** came into the office to submit photos taken on his ***

We were told that "Rebates can take a while, wait a couple of months"

Mid-August 2019, no rebate has come. *** calls All-Pro plumbing. They are puzzled and say they will look into it and call him back that week.

The week goes by, no call back.

*** calls *** who confirms that *** has not received the rebate application.

*** calls back All-Pro plumbing to tell them this, they say they will check into it some more and get back to him (they don't return the call).

October 2019, *** calls all pro plumbing again, they confirm that they are going to contact *** to confirm on their end.

December 18th 2019: *** calls all pro plumbing again, they confirm that they didn't send out the application so they will pay the $500 rebate from their pocket, but it's Christmas time so it might take a couple weeks.

January 2nd 2020 *** calls all pro plumbing back (who still have not once called him) and they say they will write a cheque (but haven't yet).

Mid-January sometime (after January 13th, before 30th) *** goes to all pro-plumbing in person with the written notice from the mail that *** has declined to give him a rebate because the application was not submitted within 6 months from the invoice date. All pro plumbing agrees to write a cheque and they photocopy this paperwork (*** still has the original, dated January 13th from ***).

*** checks in again in person early February. They have still not written a cheque. "We'll call you back" they said. "The woman who writes cheques isn't here right now."

*** comes in again Thursday February 20th, they still don't have a cheque. They said Dave? (someone) wasn't in the office and neither was the cheque woman. They said "You can get it tomorrow if you really need it, or Monday by the latest"

Monday, February 24th 3:20pm I call all-pro plumbing who says "we are all out of paper cheques so we can't write you one. We will call you back by Friday".

We have been very patient, but this organization, communication and service is unacceptable. They have yet again promised by Friday. I will contact you to let you know if they follow through or not. Thank you very much.
