All Pro Transmissions 7501 W Villard Ave Milwaukee WI 53218 [email protected] ###-###-#### To whom it may concern, [redacted] brought his Mercury Mountaineer to us to have his transmission rebuilt and with him he brought his own solenoid pack and rebuild kit. I did not tell him to do this but he either thought it would save him money or maybe it was to ensure he had new parts in his car, I’m not sure. Every time [redacted] came into this facility he was extremely intoxicated, hard to understand and talked for very long periods at a time. Seeing this was the case from the start, I accepted using his parts and gave him money off the original rebuild price and explained to him I normally never do that and clearly after reading this I hope you will understand why. After rebuilding it with his parts a few months later he brought it back and said it wasn’t working, so we took it in and rebuilt it right away. After rebuilding his transmission we still had pressure problems and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the problem was ASSUMING that [redacted]’s solenoid pack he originally brought us was new. We were stumped because it was showing signs of a defective solenoid pack. We asked him to bring in his receipt for the part he bought which he couldn’t find. We then had to have the company “Trans Star”, located in Brookfield find it which took them two days to do and then send us a copy of his receipt. When we received the copy we saw that his solenoid pack was not new and was purchased used. At this point [redacted] was no longer in warranty seeing that it was clear his used solenoid pack was the culprit of the failure. We could of voided his warranty, however we care deeply for all of our customers. [redacted] did state that he didn’t write the letter to the Revdex.com and that his wife wrote it. [redacted] also sent another man here to represent him because [redacted], at many times was incoherent due to his drinking. We have a copy of this receipt from Trans Star and can fax it if necessary but [redacted] did acknowledge this at one point after confronting him. [redacted] could not afford a new one when we told him so we purchased it for him and installed it and gave him his vehicle back a few days after the original complaint was sent to the Revdex.com. The man he sent to speak with us was very kind and understanding. [redacted] and the man he sent, told us that they would immediately dismiss their complaint with the Revdex.com. I’m sorry we didn’t reply and follow through persistently enough that this matter wasn’t resolved sooner. Dealing with surgeries and faulty word programs do take part in this but never the less this is a lesson I’ve learned from and will try harder to follow through with any future resolves. I believe deeply we’re not at fault for this unfortunate occurrence but did accept the responsibility to get him back up and running no matter the cost. I feel it would be most kind for him and the Revdex.com organization to relieve us of any negative reflection of our company for this complaint. We did everything we could to make sure his vehicle was fixed while maintaining professionalism, being polite and courteous. His transmission is and has been corrected and [redacted] has not been back since. In Best Regards, [redacted]/Owner

This is the only place that I will take my car's, and refer my people to, because of the integrity of this company.... The mechanic's, the owner, is unlike no other, putting me back in time when honest businesses were really what they were, honest!

Review: I took my 2002 5 speed manual mitsubishi eclipse in for a shifting problem I was having. It ran and drive fine with no issues. No check engine light clean new motor. The only issue I had with the car is that I could get it in all 5 gears except for reverse. I drove the car in just to replace the clutch thinking that could be the issue. But they end up breaking the bolts that connects the tranny to the motor. And now the car is not able to be driven home. And can not be recconnected to the motor without extra money I would have to pay them to do it. I gave them around 700 dollars to put a new clutch in the car. I am out of money to put into the car more. And its more broken to the point I cant even drive it. I was able to drive it their with no problems. But now I have to tow it to my house. Please get in contact with me for more details.

Thank you.Desired Settlement: I just would like a refund for the clutch I had them put in. If I did not have them put in the clutch the car still would be able to run and drive.

Review: My 2003 transmission was slipping. I called 8/19/14 received a quote for transmission check. After checking the transmission. [redacted] called informed me that my transmission was 4 quartes low and had been damaged due to running low. [redacted] quoted be 1095.00 + tax to repair my transmission, and it would take 3 days, that Friday 8/22/14. He was not done by Friday. He did not complete the transmission until 8/27/14. I picked up the truck and attempted to drive it to Kenosha. The transmission would not pull and had to be returned back to shop for additional work. He replaced the tork converter but still had the same p[redacted]lem(slipping, not pulling),He then stated that it was the Solenoid pack. These were replaced. I called told him that I wanted a refund as the work nor I was satisfied. The truck still does not drive right. It now has a loud whine, that was not there before his work. I told him I wanted my money back. He said that they do not give money back returns, they do repair work. I told him that I do not want them to day anymore work to my vehicle. After, all completed work he claimed to have done, I spent a approximate total of over 1600.00 dollars and my truck is still not working right. I travel for work and I had to purchase another vehicle to travel to work, for fear of my truck's transmission not working/braking down.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded as work was not satifactory, nor the truck's transmission repaired right.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

I am totally dissatisfied with the response from All Pro and [redacted]ert the owner. As, I was the one who brought the SUV in on my day off. He was not in the shop, but I spoke to him on the phone. He assured me that he would be able to diagnosis my SUV and repair it. It was brought in for transmission slipping. There were no noises otherwise or p[redacted]lems. Since the attempted repair of my transmission to the SUV, it did not run smoothly as he states and has a high pitched whine which indicates there still is a transmission p[redacted]lem. I am requesting the return of my money that was spent for the unsatisfied repair of my Lincoln Aviator. Since the repair work was not completed appropriately, I have had to purchase another vehicle for transportation to work. I travel for a living and this was been a huge deficit and p[redacted]lem to get to work. I am requesting that Revdex.com, help me get my money back or at least half of my money for the inconvenience that happened during this disastrous repair to my Lincoln Aviator,as, I am still unable to safely drive it. I have allowed All Pro the opportunity to repair my SUV three times and still have my SUV be returned with the same p[redacted]lem, that was supposedly repaired. I do not TRUST the shop or the work, and WILL NOT allow them to do anything else to my SUV. Please help me rectify this p[redacted]lem. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Sincerely,[redacted]

Response:

As I stated in my previous response letter, we did everything in our power to pinpoint all issues within the transmission. We did rebuild the transmission, I did test drive the vehicle and after the rebuild there were no issues with the transmission. Afterwards, the SUV did happen to have other issues unrelated to the transmission. I stated it may be electrical and it needs to be checked out at a shop that specializes in electrical work, we do not do electrical work.
