I am totally dissatisfied with the response from All Pro and ***ert the ownerAs, I was the one who brought the SUV in on my day offHe was not in the shop, but I spoke to him on the phoneHe assured me that he would be able to diagnosis my SUV and repair itIt was brought in for transmission slippingThere were no noises otherwise or p***lemsSince the attempted repair of my transmission to the SUV, it did not run smoothly as he states and has a high pitched whine which indicates there still is a transmission p***lemI am requesting the return of my money that was spent for the unsatisfied repair of my Lincoln AviatorSince the repair work was not completed appropriately, I have had to purchase another vehicle for transportation to workI travel for a living and this was been a huge deficit and p***lem to get to workI am requesting that Revdex.com, help me get my money back or at least half of my money for the inconvenience that happened during this disastrous repair to my Lincoln Aviator,as, I am still unable to safely drive itI have allowed All Pro the opportunity to repair my SUV three times and still have my SUV be returned with the same p***lem, that was supposedly repairedI do not TRUST the shop or the work, and WILL NOT allow them to do anything else to my SUVPlease help me rectify this p***lemThank you for your assistance in this matter.Sincerely,*** ***

All Pro Transmissions 7501 W Villard Ave Milwaukee WI 53218 [email protected] ###-###-####   To whom it may concern, [redacted] brought his Mercury Mountaineer to us to have his transmission rebuilt and with him he brought his own solenoid pack and rebuild kit. I did not tell him to do...

this but he either thought it would save him money or maybe it was to ensure he had new parts in his car, I’m not sure. Every time [redacted] came into this facility he was extremely intoxicated, hard to understand and talked for very long periods at a time. Seeing this was the case from the start, I accepted using his parts and gave him money off the original rebuild price and explained to him I normally never do that and clearly after reading this I hope you will understand why. After rebuilding it with his parts a few months later he brought it back and said it wasn’t working, so we took it in and rebuilt it right away. After rebuilding his transmission we still had pressure problems and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the problem was ASSUMING that [redacted]’s solenoid pack he originally brought us was new. We were stumped because it was showing signs of a defective solenoid pack. We asked him to bring in his receipt for the part he bought which he couldn’t find. We then had to have the company “Trans Star”, located in Brookfield find it which took them two days to do and then send us a copy of his receipt. When we received the copy we saw that his solenoid pack was not new and was purchased used.  At this point [redacted] was no longer in warranty seeing that it was clear his used solenoid pack was the culprit of the failure.  We could of voided his warranty, however we care deeply for all of our customers.  [redacted] did state that he didn’t write the letter to the Revdex.com and that his wife wrote it. [redacted] also sent another man here to represent him because [redacted], at many times was incoherent due to his drinking. We have a copy of this receipt from Trans Star and can fax it if necessary but [redacted] did acknowledge this at one point after confronting him. [redacted] could not afford a new one when we told him so we purchased it for him and installed it and gave him his vehicle back a few days after the original complaint was sent to the Revdex.com. The man he sent to speak with us was very kind and understanding. [redacted] and the man he sent, told us that they would immediately dismiss their complaint with the Revdex.com.  I’m sorry we didn’t reply and follow through persistently enough that this matter wasn’t resolved sooner. Dealing with surgeries and faulty word programs do take part in this but never the less this is a lesson I’ve learned from and will try harder to follow through with any future resolves. I believe deeply we’re not at fault for this unfortunate occurrence but did accept the responsibility to get him back up and running no matter the cost. I feel it would be most kind for him and the Revdex.com organization to relieve us of any negative reflection of our company for this complaint. We did everything we could to make sure his vehicle was fixed while maintaining professionalism, being polite and courteous.  His transmission is and has been corrected and [redacted] has not been back since.                                         ... In Best Regards,                                         ... [redacted]/Owner

Business states that he contacted the consumer directly and the issues have been resolved.

I do not agree with the statement. They did let me...

leave the car in their lot for a couple of weeks to find a new transmission just because I was able to drive it there to get it fix. But was not able to drive it home because they are the one that broke the transmission. I just wanted them to put a new a new clutch in and ended up braking the trans. I even had taking it to another shop to inspect the transmission before I took it there. there was not a problem with the transmission and have paper work to prove it. I have also pictures of what all pros transmissions did to the transmission. They basically crack in in half. If I dont get a refund from the work they did. I have a lawyer that is ready to take them to court. I drove the car there with no problems at all. Even if they couldn't of fix the problem I should of been able to drive it home with no problem. The problems they had they did not let me know half of that stuff that was going on. If their was missing bults they shouldn't have even touch it unless they could have put it back together the right way.

As stated earlier in my response to the initial
complaint, myself and another shop owner proceeded to tell [redacted] that
his clutch was not the issue with his Mitsubishi, EclipseI strongly
repeated to [redacted] that it in fact was not the clutch that was giving
him problems driving the vehicle prior to delivering it at my shopI stated to
[redacted] that it was a problem with his transmission, coming from a transmission
specialist[redacted] proceeded to instruct us to install a clutch on his Eclipse
He also stated that a clutch was installed before, and believed the installment
of the clutch was not done properly
While installing the clutch, we noticed damage done to
transmissionAs soon as we noticed the transmission damage, I called [redacted] and
notified him of the issues we were running intoI told [redacted]; we should step back,
which we indeed found the problems we were looking forI also advised him if
he found another transmission, or that I would have no problems looking for a
used transmission, All Pro Transmissions would even install a used transmission
at NO ADDITIONAL COSTSWhoever did the work prior to All Pro Transmissions
damaged his transmission internally and externally. After reinforcing my transmission knowledge
to [redacted] and instructing him on the potential problems we could run into, he
demanded us to go ahead and keep installing the clutch[redacted] also asked if
there were any shortcuts or ways he could get away without replacing the
transmissionI was very informative to [redacted] that his clutch was not the
issue; there was damage done from another shop due to replacement of his
clutch, which caused damage to his transmission internally and externally as
stated in my prior message
I try my hardest to ensure Customer SatisfactionKeeping
that in mind, I did give [redacted] other options to ensure his car was fixed
properly. For Example: No additional costs to install a
transmission, and gave [redacted] a month to store his car for FREE
Best Regards,

As I stated in my previous response letter, we did everything in our power to pinpoint all issues within the transmission. We did rebuild the transmission, I did test drive the vehicle and after the rebuild there were no issues with the transmission. Afterwards, the SUV did happen to have other issues unrelated to the transmission. I stated it may be electrical and it needs to be checked out at a shop that specializes in electrical work, we do not do electrical work. The SUV's motor was bogging out, nothing to do with transmissions. Transmissions are powered from the motor, not the transmission providing power to the motor. With this being said, a transmission issue will not cause a motor to bog out and lose RPM when accelerating. Our shop does warranty our transmission work. Sometimes and unfortunately there can be more than one issue with a vehicle. The SUV was brought in and inspected for transmission repair, repairs we did and corrected. With this being said, the previous in depth and detailed letter I previously provided....I'm not sure what else we can do??? I feel we held our end of the work.I do understand Ms. [redacted]'s frustration, and I wish she would understand the current issues are not in reflection of a bad transmission. We fixed that issue. Thanks [redacted]
