Review: I found the above company's advertisement on the back of a local newspaper. The repairman [redacted] came to my home to unclog a bathroom sink on the main floor of the house.[redacted] said he was licensed & insured (see card attached). After two hours at this job, I began to be uncomfortable,no one had ever taken this long. [redacted] told me he had to leave for a moment and would return shortly. When he returned, I told him that if he was having difficulty with job I would call someone else, he said that he was making progress. My husband saw a bottle of clear liquid on the counter and inquire as to what it was, he then said acid. My husband told him I hope you did not pour that down my pipes, they are old. [redacted] the repairman, stated do not worry it will not do any damage. 15 minutes later I heard water down in my basement bathroom and open the door to two inches of rusted water all over the floors and walls. The acid was so bad that it ate the rugs on the floor, took down part of the ceiling and I still have the smell. I had to pay another plumber over six hundred dollars ro repalce part of a pipe and unclog the original bathroom sink. [redacted], had the nerve to tell me when he saw the mess he made, I guess I have to break the walls now. I told him to get out of my house, he than demanded that I pay him for his time $80.00, which I did to get him out of my house.I know that I will not get my money back, but I do not think he is a plumber or licensed or insured. I now have to get a contractor out to my home to remove my bathroom vanity and tiles and break the wall upstairs, as well as a plumber to replace the pipe from the upstairs bathroom down to the basement. It will probably cost me near two thousand dollar. I hope to spare someone else this nightmare.Desired Settlement: I would love to be refunded all my expenses , but I do not think that will happen, so I just want him stop from doing this kind of damage to someone else.
